Recommended to me by Arcness, and it seems like it'll be good. Triad has released the first 2 episodes for a couple of days now:

"The beginning of high school life, also means the beginning of a brand new love life to the girls. For the lively high school freshman, Takahashi Nanami, nicknamed Nana, this is also the case... Incidentally, a popular guy, Yano Motoharu, happens to be in the same class as Nana. 2/3 of the girls in class fall in love with him but Nana seems to hate him?!"

Lollerskaters, Bud. You certainly was away too long! General Discussion...

Anyway, I was also considering this series, but haven't checked it out. "Drama, Romance, Shoujo, Slice of Life" sounds good for a hopeless fool like me. Yet as it is, I have already quite a few series I'm watching, even with Tokko and Noein just finished.

Despite the incredibly simplistic art, it manages to present everything very well. The delivery is like Honey & Clover, with occasional arm flapping, scribbly faces, but more...normal and serious. The eps are packed with content, reminiscient of KgNE, but feels like 2 eps in 1 to KgNE's 3 in 1.

There aren't any big veterans in the cast either, most of them have little or no experience. It gives the series a more realistic feel for me.

Also, the relationship is not panning out to be one of the types we usually see in shoujo series, which is a huge plus to the credit of this series. There's no "uwaaah," "kakoii" or other fainting associated noises resulting in the heroine relentlessly persuing her target until he succumbs to her in the 8th or 12th episode. Nor does it start with instant hate that slowly develops into deep romance. Nanami doesn't even know who Yano is, dislikes him at first, then she thinks she likes him, likes him more, hates him, and goes back and forth as she learns more about him. It's very unconventional, resulting in a very refreshing feel.

The whole series comes off as very...natural.

I just caught up, and I've really liked this series, very different from the shit that I usually watch. The romance has been pretty good, anyone else still watching this?

I moved back to school and work has already started to pick up, so I've fallen behind. I'm about 3 eps back. I download them, I just never seem to have time to watch them.

I did not expect Yuri and Yano to have had a relationship after her sister died though, that one was a total shock to me.

Well you should catch up, episode 10 I think will be a turning point in the series... I wonder when a relationship between Takeushi and Nana will surface, at least it seems like he's in love with her.

The art style took a little getting use to at first but this series is pretty good so far. I guess I'm becoming more open minded when it comes to anime because I never would of thought I would enjoy ones like this.

Eps 12 is out. Get it at your preferred place.

I can't say I'm really surprised they split up. Yano wasn't trusting enough and Nanami reminded him too much of Nana. Though I can't say that I saw it coming that he still loved Nana that much. I had figured like Nanami that he hated her, felt horribly betrayed and would not be able to forgive her.

As for what happens now...you could tell that Takeuchi was going to confess to her. I just hope that she rejects him. If she doesn't, this series could end up cliche for a while.

Just watched the first episode, and this looked like a fine series indeed. It hasn't been long since I watched Karekano, and this series clearly has some atmosphere similar to that, while many elements are certainly different. Still, I liked Karekano a lot, and based on the first episode, I will like this series just as much. I always want even all the shounen series I watch to have some romance in them, yet I haven't really been that inclined to try watching actual shoujo series themed purely around romance. Maybe because of that I can enjoy series like this, when I rarely watch them, so deeply.

Edit: The next ep was released already:

[Triad]Bokura Ga Ita - 19 (http://a.scarywater.net/triad/%5BTriad%5D_Bokura_Ga_Ita_-_19.avi.torrent)

To me, this episode was somewhat uneventful. A good speech by Ayaka that I'll have to rewatch again to get all of it. In either case, it was a good way to get back into the series after a hiatus by Triad. There was definitely something at the end of the episode, it seems Yamamoto has decided to make her move finally. They've been showing her off to the side in the last couple episodes, and I was wondering if they forgot her. I'm willing to bet she's going to attempt to steal Yano, by acting/appearing more like her sister.

The preview was pretty cryptic, though a little on the obvious side when you think about it. 20 should be a very interesting eps.
