This movie just came out, and it has been released by Ureshii. It seems like it might be a good one, it's done by Gonzo so at least the animation should be good.

"The wasteland that Agito lives in is 300 years in the future. Failed DNA manipulation experiments have lead to a state of aggression between the "forest" and humans. One day, Agito meets Tula, a girl from the past. It is up to Tula to restore civilization, and to help her, Agito makes a contract with the "forest," obtaining forbidden powers. With his newfound powers, Agito`s hair has become silver - where will Tula`s "mission" and Agito`s forbidden power take the story?"

This also caught my attention when I was visiting Baka-Updates earlier, and I checked the description over at ANN. I'm currently downloading it to have a look. It could be good. At least sounds like a story I could appreciate with classifications of "Drama, Romance, Science Fiction".

The file size is humongous 1.36 GB, so it'll take some time to dl, though.

Apparently i'm the first one who felt like commenting. It was very beautiful, and the story was nice, though not very original in my opinion. It kinda made me feel like my eyes were being masturbated by someone I knew didn't really care for me, but still made it feel good.

Also the ANN plot summary is a bit vague and misleading, the AniDB one is much more accurate and understandable...Kinda depressing since I tend to shy towards ANN more.

Commenting...

my first WOW when I saw the show... well yea, the animation and art are just beautiful. indeed the story is not that original, but its very well executed and was a very fun watch. If you aren't sure, just watch the opening sequence with the dragons...

great movie...

Finally found time to watch this. And yes, the first thing I have to say is that the animenfo description is the only one that actually somehow fits this movie. The rest, including the one in Bud's post (anidb), are way off.

Aside from the somewhat light plot, like has been said, this was a gorgeous movie. Highly impressive art and animation. This movie could be recommended to anyone interested in anime movies.

Hmm... Still, I can't help but wonder why Moon lost its gravity... An interesting shape, but shouldn't be terribly permanent.
