Heys guys, im sorry if this has already been discussed. But I was wondering why hunter x hunter is only 62 eps. Did they intend to make it that way? Cause if they did, then in my opinion; they left way to many things unfinished. To much to let the viewer finish it on there own. Or it could have been canclled, or something? But i would love to know about this. Thanks for any help, and please dont yell at me to much.

the TV series of HXH has 3 sets of OAV's that follow it which are essentially just more tv episodes. You should find and download those and as far as I know they do intend to do more Greed Island Final wasn't made that long ago

There are 3 OVA's afterwards that continue the story, the first 2 (Hunter X Hunter: Original Video Animation (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=173) and Hunter X Hunter - Greed Island (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=545)) are 8 episodes and the third one (Hunter X Hunter - Greed Island Final (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=1427)) is 14.

You wont be seeing anymore after the G.I Final OVAs for a long time, there is more story after this, but it hasn't been finished yet, and the mangaka is ill at the moment and the manga is on hold until further notice, you'll have to wait for more to come, as are people who are reading the manga.

If you had done a search for hunter in the General Anime section there were plenty of threads that had this, although most of them are a couple of years old, there is one thread, a Greed Island one that was used about 3 months ago. That would've answered your question, and made one less thread. Please use search functions and this thread for further discussion about anything related to HxH.
