im actually trying to learn how to do a pencil sketch without hte messyness, so if anyone has any advice i'd be glad to hear it:)

i like the sand nin the best, the only grip i have with the others are some off proportions, and for non messy sketches i generally sketch very litely, then if i like the result, i thicken the lines out, and erase the extra sketch lines

ah so i was doing it properly, its just i usually sketch in my school books so i dont really erase or its in pen like the first pic

Dang dude, those are pretty nice! I agree the sand nin one looks pretty cool, and has a unique style, in my opinion anyways. You didn't do to shabby a job of coloring the sand nin one either. Keep it up dude, those are definately nice especially for drawing with a pen!

i gotta say nice job on the sand nin. apart from a few white spots, the coloring is still nice and smooth. the shading is just right, not too much, not too little. as far as advice goes, i'd agree with dark's suggestion about light lines + eraser. *reps u
looking forward to seeing more.
