I visited it and it said that my IP was logged or something to that effect, by some uh, security thingy. I don't know. I don't know if it's the real deal or not but I doubt it - seeing as it's this date, among other things.

Man I logged on to a metal site which I usually frequent and today of all days that one seemed to be hijacked too. At first I thought that my entire intranet was defeated.

I fucking hate april fools.

If you highlight the full page, right underneath the DoJ logo is a link to the site.

The other gag is that everything is labeled as a hentai. LOL

Hehe, that reminds me of what K-F did once. I wonder how can they make it so that the person's country is shown?

It looks pretty fake though.:p And if you keep the page open for awhile. It goes right back to normal.

I wanted to make a thread for people to post April Fools gags they ran into online, but since there's already a thread vaguely about April Fools I'll just go with that.

I didn't realize Tokyotosho had a history of this nonsense. It seems this year they're claiming that because China is taking over the internet they're renaming themselves Běijīng Túshūguǎn and dedicating themselves to Chinese media. And the site is now all done up in (extremely ugly (http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/1406/tokyotoshoaprilfools200.png)) shades of red.

According to Akiba Blog, over two-thousand people lined up at midnight today for DQIX. Midnight. Today. Today is April 1, and Dragon Quest IX is slated for release this July.

That particular text would have been slightly more believable if Wilik's "true" indentity had been a tad closer to earth. A babushka was a bit on the unlikely side.

Still, it might be better this way: People intending to donate would stop themselves if it was too believable.
