My idea is that instead of making a new thread for each movie we want to talk about. We could have this one thread and post short reviews, followed by a simple opinion if others should watch it or stay away. I think everyone would appreciate if the reviews are more than just one line saying "This movie rocks".

You may post reviews of old movies as well, but the main idea is to enlighten people about somewhat new movies. Also please discuss the movies that have been reviewed.

Use common sense regarding spoilers and such, especially when talking about new movies.

-----------------------------------------------------

I'll kick it off with a bang.

Movie: Kiss kiss bang bang (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373469/) (imdb link)

This is sort of a crime/detective movie but the atmosphere is so light hearted that you almost forget that part. I was genuinly shocked over grade of humour in this movie. I haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a very long time. The thing is that the jokes are a little sneaky so you can't see them coming, and your caught completely off guard. And sometimes it even takes some time before the brain even comprehends the awsomeness of some jokes.

This is one of my favourite quotes from the movie, Harry (the main character) is at a party and a girl walks up to hi and asks.

B-Movie Actress: So what do you do?
Harry Lockhart: I'm retired, I invented dice. What do you do?

Verdict: Watch this movie, you won't regret it.

Friendly word of advice to posters: This thread is to make recommendations for movies. Now, would you ever recommend a movie to someone and then give away the ending or a plot twist? I don't know if spoiling movies falls under a violation of rules or not. Either way, let's use some fucking common sense and try not to do that...

Carrying on:
"I want you to hit me as hard as you can."

http://www.metrocity.com/personal/Vince/pics/ffposter.jpg

The movie: Fight Club.
1999, Directed by David Fincher, the same guy who directed Se7en. He got his start working Visual Effects for Lucasfilms (Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom). This and 7 are his masterpieces IMO.

Starring: Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. Also features Meat Loaf as 'Bob'.

Analysis: If you've never seen this movie you should do the following:
1. Wash your hands. Use soap for once in your life.
2. Find an open, somewhat clean space.
3. Keeping your legs as straight as possible, put your hands on the ground.
4. Stay that way until someone kicks you in your ass. You fucking deserve it.
5. Go watch this movie.

Honestly, I know it sounds utterly cheesy, but this is one of those movies that "changed my life". No jokes. I saw this movie and it really got me thinking differently about life, my goals, the culture I live in, the deep shit. I believe every person should see this movie at least once, especially when they are young.

Also this movies has some really crazy shit in it. It's not just about fighting, that's just the surface. I quote this movie more often than any other. Excellent script, some stunning action and cinematography to die for. The dark humor and downright insane shit that goes on in some parts of this movie is unforgetable. This was also an awesome, and even more insane, book.

Warning: Link contains spoilers.

Meat Loaf's bitch tits alone are worth it.

You think that's wierd? I have actually met people that don't know what The Simpsons is.

Seriously, the only acceptable reason for not seeing Fight Club is being in a coma for the last 8 years. I'm really hoping that they will make a movie out of Chuck's book Choke.

Title: Good Night, and Good Luck (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433383/)

This is a story about a news anchor that fights the system in america back when communists where worse than homosexuals and muslims combined. It's kind of slow and uneventful, but I rather like these kind of movies. The entire movie is black and white (the color not the attitude) which really adds alot to the atmosphere.

On a side note: for this movie Gerge Clooney starred, directed and wrote the script.

As I said if you don't absolutely crave action packed movie, you will enjoy this movie.

george clooney is fucking awsome. I want him to be the father of my children

On that note watch Oceans Eleven and Oceans Twelve. Probably 2 of the best comedies out there. The script isn't just funny its smart and witty. Plus a star studded cast, and a great story.

The only reason not to watch these movies is if you follow a religion where george clooney is lucifer. In that case you need to switch religions and go watch these movies.

I just came back from watching Jet Li's latest martial arts film, Fearless, which is also his last in this genre. It's a great show, which had my wife crying buckets for the character he portrayed in the film. Based on true real life accounts, the movie was about the life of a chinese martial art master who defeated many westerners in the early 1900s. Great movie with lots of awesome fight scenes, and fitting for Jet Li's last. Highly recommended even for non Jet Li fans.

Title: Waiting (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0348333/)

As the title implies this movie is about the staff at a restaurant. You get to see what happens during one of their "ordinary" days. It's pretty funny at parts, but overall it isn't really that interesting. There's not much more to say, it's basically your run o' the mill american pie style teen comedy.

I wouldn't recommend this movie very highly, I guess if you have nothing to do it is an ok choice.

The Weather Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384680/)

It's about a Wheater Man (Nicholas Cage) who's divorced his wife, and he is trying to maintain a relationship with his two children. This movie feels very real somehow. The charcters and the plot feel really authentic. And the humor is very low key, but very funny. Seems like Nicholas Cage is doing a great comeback. First the brilliant "Lord of War" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399295/) and now this little gem.

Watch this.

I LOVED Ocean's 11.... #12, though, wasn't great in my opinion. I felt like something was definitely lacking in the sequel but with Ocean's 11-- now that's a movie I can watch if I want to relax. Everything is done to near perfection. None of the cast needs to try too hard to play the roles they're assigned to and every cut, edit, and camera angle has a purpose that all eventually reveals itself at the end. I love it.

Well, I would recommend Akira Kurosawa's Samurai Seven but my Netflix DVD was a bum and became unplayable just after the intermission. But from what I've seen so far, that movie rocks. I can't believe I took this long to finally see half of it =P

Capote (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379725/)

I just saw this movie and my impression was "what the fuck was this shit". God damn waste of my time. This Truman fellow must be really liked in america for this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The only reason this movie got nominated for an oscar must have been out of sheer principle. Boring movies win oscars. It was really funny and sad that they tried so hard to hide Truman's extreme faggyness, but their deceptive maneuvers were no match for me. And that fucking voice, If Truman spoke like that in real life I am truly surprised that he lived as long as he did.

Don't watch this movie, unless you are ready to fight the urge to kill yourself and everyone in your vincinity.

Yah, Omg. My friend told me about it. Its about these kids who are put on an island and have to kill eachother until only one survives. And the teenagers are given absolutly random weapons. Sounds like a shallow movie though..........

Dear god, never watch Battle Royale 2. That is the biggest piece of crap movie that came out of Japan I have ever seen. Imagine a made-for-TV movie, but drag it down even further. That's the shallow movie you don't want to see.

The first one is an amazing must see. It's really not as shallow as you might think. There's a lot of depth to the reason why the adults are putting high school kids on this island. I've heard the manga by the same name is better, but if you're short on time, Battle Royale is a great movie.

Leon / The Professional (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110413/)

This movie is either called "Leon" or "The Professional" depending on where you are in the world. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen, and it's not as well known as it should be. It came out in 1994, the best movie year in history (Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump). I'm not very good at reviewing movies, but I know a good movie when I see one. Crimson Tide (IMDB Link) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112740/)

Plot Outline: On a US nuclear missile sub, a young first officer stages a mutiny to prevent his trigger happy captain from launching his missiles before confirming his orders to do so.

This is one of my all time favs... its really gripping throughout and even when it comes to the climax you know what the options are that it could be happening but you still are at the edge of your seats. Make sure you watch this.

Holy shit was this a good movie. I've taken the liberty of making a very small review:

This 12 year old girl's parents are killed by some drug dealer whos a cop. Even the girls younger brother was killed. The girl goes to this assassin and is trained to kill. She wants revenge. This movie should have already caught your attention.

I just saw Shinobi: Heart Under Blade. One of the best movies I've ever seen. As many of you probably know it is related to the Basilisk anime.

The story, music, characters and so on were all amazing. It moved me in many ways, to say the least. SEE IT NOW!

Oh and the theme song "Heaven" by Ayumi Hamasaki is just one of her many orgasmic songs. Man I could die for her, that's how great her music is.

The Descent (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/)

I hadn't heard of this movie so I didn't know what to expect but nevertheless I was plesantly surprised. The atmosphere was conveyed well. I really liked the tension and the sense of seclusion.

If you're looking for a movie to scare the living bejeezus out of any woman-folk (and man-folk for that matter) nearby, this is the movie for you.

Woohoo I have a sticky thread :D

Let's celebrate this jouoys occasion with some awesome movie recommendations .

Das Experiment (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250258/)

It's about a experiment in a prison environment. It's one of the best movies I have ever seen. I don't think any other movie has made me feel as much as this. I was literally shaking from excitement.

10/10

Science of Sleep (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0354899/)

Really fucked up movie and really funny.

9/10

Stranger than Fiction (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0420223/)

Also really strange and funny. If you liked Adaptation (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0268126/) you will love this. It has a sort of similar vibe as Click (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389860/).

9/10

The Prestige (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482571/) + The Illusionist (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443543/)

Similar movies and both very good. Gotta love Christian Bale and Edward Norton.

9/10

And lastly a warning

Half Nelson (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468489/)

Almost as bad as Capote (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379725/). What is up with the oscar's and boring pretentious pieces of shit? Seriously on of the most useless movies ever. NOTHING HAPPENS!!! I can sum up the plot of this movie in on sentence. Warning might contain spoiler. A teacher on drugs. That's it. No need to see it.

I don't know maybe 2/10 since it did have a sex scene after all.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

One of the best and first movies I ever saw, yes it is a western but it is just awsome.

The Quick and the Dead, is pretty good as well.

Gladiator, that is a given.

Goodfellas, good movie.

As BoC mentioned "The Professional" as it was re name for the American audience. My favorite line from this movie, " No woman, no kids" bang. oh yeah.

Fight Club, is a must see as previously stated.

After the Sunset, is a good movie as well.

Devil's Advocate, awsome movie.

Man on fire, One of the best movies i've seen in the last few years.

Pirates of the Caribbean, "duh" I'm a big Johnny deep fan.

Sleepy Hollow, Secret window and a few others that i'll keep to myself for now.

Nightmare Before Christmas.

Corpse Bride.

Interview with a Vampire.

Underworld

Pulp Ficton. Enough said.

Shawshank Redemption.

The Green Mile.

Happy Feet, this moves is just pure fun and laughter not much and yet is makes you wonder.

Well there is a whole lot more that but this is good for now.

hmm, you left out "Once Upon a Time in the West" (not to be confused with that shitty Once Upon a Time in Mexico movie with Antonio Banderas) and "For a Fistful of Dollars" . Both those are directed by Sergio Leone, the same guy who did Good, Bad, Ugly. Once Upon a Time in the West is my favorite Leone film, and I'm a sucker for Westerns (helps explain why I like anime so much)

I actually think that "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" isn't as good as the first ("Fistful of Dollars") and borrows so heavilly from the second ("For a Few Dollars More"). I saw them in the order they were made, so by the time I got to the third one, it seemed much less novel and groundbreaking than what it is for most people, since they don't even know about the earlier "Man with no Name" movies.

John Ford's "The Searchers" is also one of the best westerns I've ever seen. John Wayne doesn't have his typical 'sheriff/hero' role, and it's refreshing to see a Western that is as dark and serious as this one is.

Nice Jose Calderon sig BoC. Raptors! CB4

My favorite 2006 movies (might have forgot some) and I know some people might not like the ones I do :

A Scanner Darkly (nice cast with Reeves + Downey Jr. and the animation job done is great),

Alpha Dog (I hate Justin Timberlake but this movie is pretty good),

Apocalypto (Mel Gibson directed movie and its awesome)

Babel (Pitt did a pretty good job in this movie and I enjoyed it)

Blood Diamond (DiCaprio was great and just an awesome movie!),

Borat (Jagshemash, My name a Borat!),

Cars (pretty good animation movie),

Casino Royale (Daniel Craig did a great job with Bond and definately must see),

Children of Men (Clive Owen is becoming one of the great actors of recent and this movie shows the gritty dark side of future),

Click (Sandler + Beckinsale, good movie and near the end had some nice moments)

Crank (not bad if you like action and the same guy from "The Transporter"),

Deja Vu (not bad, Denzel travelling back in time)

Fast Food Nation (kinda of like "Super Size Me" and this was great about the reality of fast food),

Jet Li's Fearless (Li portraying an old Chinese martial arts legend and great action scenes)

Flags of Our Fathers (nice war movie and another great Clint Eastwood directed movie)

Flushed Away (I loved it, great delightful animation movie, Roddy!),

Half Nelson (great acting done by Canada's own Ryan Gosling portraying a teacher with a drug problem),

Happy Feet (awesome voice cast and a nice fun animation movie),

Idiocracy (directed by Mike Judge ("Beavis and Butthead", "Office Space"), Luke Wilson did an alright job and this movie had funny moments)

Letters from Iwo Jima (another awesome war movie by Clint)

Little Children (not a kid movie at all, Winslet + Connelly, Rated R),

Little Miss Sunshine (Steve Carell ("The Office") is one of my favorite comedic actors and his great in this),

Lucky Number Slevin (terrific cast including Willis + Freeman + Kingsley and I liked it)

Ice Age 2 (liked the first one and this sequel wasn't that bad),

Inside Man (Denzel + Owen, bank robbery and just a great movie)

Pan's Labyrinth (fantastic movie, reminds me of the animation movie "Spirited Away")

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest (Johnny Depp! not much to say but watch it!),

Stranger Than Fiction (Will Ferell in a more serious role + Dustin Hoffman and just an overall nice movie)

The Departed (remake of HK's "Infernal Affairs" and with an all star cast including Jack Nicholson and Damon + DiCaprio, I enjoyed it but the HK version is still the best),

The Good Shepherd (directed by De Niro about spies with a great cast like Matt Damon + Jolie)

The Holiday (romance comedy with Jack Black + Winslet and Diaz + Law, not bad and I like almost anything so I thought this was alright)

The Last King of Scotland (Forest Whitaker did an amazing job and just won the Best Actor award for his performance in this movie),

The Last Kiss (Zach Braff ("Scrubs") + Rachel Bilson ("The O.C."), same thing like "The Holiday" with a cast that I like and an average movie. Bilson!)

The Lives of Others (terrific movie, great performances by the whole cast),

The Illusionist (great visuals and Norton!)

The Prestige (brilliant movie with magic and Bale + Jackman rivalry),

The Pursuit of Happyness (Will Smith at it again, great performance),

The Science of Sleep (read el_boss's review),

Underworld: Evolution (vampires and werewolves, but to be honest I watch this because of Kate Beckinsale)

Volver (nice foreign movie and Penelope Cruz!),

X-Men: The Last Stand (X-men!)

The entire idea of a anteriograde amensia victim (and the film incorrectly identifies his amnesia as being retrograde..) being able to remember to check his body for tattoos, that he should check around for polaroids, that he even has the disease, is almost pure crap.

much better film that deal with similar contexts is
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

i recently saw The Departed, and was quite disappointed. Like the media, the movie hypes itself up, but seldom delivers on any of the fast-talking and angry threats that the characters are full of.

The one movie from 06 that I really recommend is Pan's Labyrinth. I believe it's even better than Schindler's List. It's dark and creepy and sort of sad, but it's a feast for the eyes and some of the actors do a top notch job that totally moves you. Another OK one was "Children of Men", a post-apocalyptic joint where all women suddenly get sterile and fascist martial law is imposed on the UK.

When does the film incorrectly identify the amnesia? I've checked through the script and I don't remember such a thing. Also, there are numerous reasons for him remembering to check his body and such, one being called conditioning the body and that's possible even for people with amnesia. So, in conclusion, it's a great movie. Interesting that it bothers you that this may be pure crap, yet you find some animes amazing and you don't find Fight Club full of crap? Please, Fight Club is just as bad in the full of crap department.

Edit to below (as to not go more off-topic):

Yeah, I never considered "I don't have amnesia, I just can't make new memories" as wrongly identifying the type of amnesia. I figured it's something he tells himself as not consider himself "sick". Also, maybe the character himself doesn't know about the different types of amnesias, so probably just any other common person would think the same.
So there has to be a distinction between a character saying something wrongfully, and the movie itself identifying the disease wrongfully. But yeah, great movie... you simply don't like it.

damn you Onshi! You got me there, Fight Club is full of crap too, even moreso than Memento. Still, I find the characters and story much more compelling in that one than in Memento.

As for your question, there are several times in the film where he states "I don't have amnesia. I just can't make new memories." Well, apparently he couldn't make a new memory about anteriograde amnesia existing, since that's clearly what he has.

by and large though Mun, i think you're right. it's not a bad film, i just didn't like it...

another movie recommendation (to stay on topic):
Wayne's World. I think it's Mike Myers' funniest film ever, way above Austin Powers

For my English class, we saw Schindler's List and Life is beautiful. I definitely recommend both movies. Schindler's List scored 96% on rottentomatoes . Life is beautiful won 3 Oscars in 1999 but did not do well on rottentomatoes due to the fact not every one agree how the movie is made. Life is beautiful is a movie like the Dictator of Charlie Chaplin for those who saw that old movie.
Both movies are a must see!

If by "thinkers" you mean "artsy bullshit movie that doesn't have any substance beyond striking imagery, random time jumps and ridiculously airy dialoge in the hopes of seeming profound, but in reality is just completely inane " then I totally agree with you! It's the worst movie I've ever seen.

And I've seen Uwe Boll's movies. The whole thing just reminded me of that painting on The Simpsons that one time, of a unicorn in space thinking "Why?". Yeah...real profound  Ah well, at least The Fountain looked nice.

My recommendation is one that has been mentioned: Pan's Labyrinth. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's got the perfect mix of realism, violence, and childlike fantasy. It's also one of those movies that's got an ending that's "open to interpretation" but actually has evidence to back up either claim.

Edit: I also think Fight Club is completely full of crap.
Edit2: And Memento was pretty damn good.

going off some of my earlier posts (Westerns), I've got one more movie recommendation:

Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch (1969).

This is a slam-bang Western that doesn't pull any punches, is chock full of action and has some of the most memorable characters in any Western. It follows a group of outlaws who scramble to make money after being chased into Mexico by a bounty hunters (one of which is a former member of the bunch). It's a very full and beautiful Western, but still teeming with sexy Mexicanas and bloody gunfights. A classic.

haha, 3 of my friends went to see it a while back. 1 of them (the artsy business student) loved it. The other 2 (both engineers) hated it, and said it was the stupidest movie they'd ever seen. apparently the guy turns into a tree at the end or some shit like that :p.

I liked The Fountain. It was just nonsense, but it was good nonsense. I wouldn't say that it has a deep meaning or some shit like that, it was fun though.

EDIT: Pan's Labyrinth is really overrated. WHY THE HELL DID SHE EAT THE FUCKING GRAPE!!!!????

Something a lil more recent...

I just saw Fracture. Great flick. Definately check that one out. Keeps ya guessing, unless you are really smart and can guess an ending before you have seen it with nothing else to go on but dumb luck.

Something a lil more sad...

Life as a House. Saddest movie of all times. But still very tasteful. Major points with the GF if you watch it with her.

Something a lil more Dramatic...

Life of David Gale...Great unforseen ending. Check it out!

I assumed either: 1. The food might have been enchanted to make children want to eat it (hence Ofelia ignoring the fairies outright) or 2. She is a mischievous child and had been punished without dinner. She was probably hungry and didn't give a shit about what the Faun had said.

That, and if she hadn't eaten the grapes, we would have never seen the Pale Man in action!!

SUNSHINE (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448134/)

Awesome movie. I don't think it has been released in the US yet, but be sure to watch it when it is. It is totally worth it to see at the cinema.

The best thing about the movie is the atmosphere. It's a little like Event Horizon and Das Experiment.

American Film Institute's Top 100 Films (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=alX4jKxWGiDA&refer=canada)

I'm not quite sure if the title of this list is accurate... They're obviously favoring the classics, at the great cost of excellent films that followed on the heels of them. I was shocked at how many I've actually seen, some of which I don't think have any business as high as they are (Singin' in the Rain at 5? Godfather II on this list at all? Shane above The Wild Bunch?)

The AFI also obviously snubbed foreign films. Still, a decent list of classics.

The Shawshank Redemption belongs soooo much higher up on that list. I'm disappointed.

Also, I've never seen Citizen Kane, but have asked about it multiple times on different forums/movie boards, and the overwhelming response I got was that it hadn't really aged well. Good for people who appreciate classics, and definitely cutting-edge for its time, but not something that the average movie-goer would actually enjoy sitting through.

There are only safe bets on the entire list.It look more like a list of movies that you should think are good unless you're an idiot. I hate those kinds of lists. It's like people who think that they are smart just because they have read classic novels. "Ooooo I've read Dostojevskij. I am so smart. I am so smart. S M R T! I mean S M A R T!!"

The Illusionist, thought it was a good movie, filmed very well if you're into that sort of thing. You don't figure it all out until the movie is just about over, which is a plus. Check it out.

Bobby - This movie was written and directed by Emilio Estevez, got a nod for Best Picture (Drama) at the Golden Globes. If you have an open mind and like six-degree movies you will love this movie. Keep in mind it is not supposed to be about Bobby Kennedy but about those in the hotel the day that it happened. It seems some critics missed that part.

For me... my recommendations would have to be Fight Club, Donnie Darko and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Probably all mentioned already but all the more reason to see them :)

And for those who may like older black and white films I would suggest The Maltese Falcon. A classic 1941 (the remake) movie based on a novel (same name) starring Humphrey Bogart. I won't say more since it's pretty easy to figure things out with key things mentioned seeing as it's older, but still great.

NBC is thinking of doing a Knight Rider movie and also ordered 13 episodes for a new series based on Robinson Crusoe. Looks like NBC has a thing for the classics, recently starting Bionic Woman and all.

if you liked amelie, you'll like "he loves me, he loves me not" too. it's also french subtitled, and has audrey tautou in it. it's more serious than amelie, but has a suprising twist to it. i personally liked it more than amelie.

That was an interesting movie, but I did like it!

And this one was mentioned a few times, Pan's Labyrinth, that was a wonderful movie! It wasn't too violent, but it was just.. wonderfully made.

And since we're reccommending movies, I recommend Millennium Actress (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0291350/). It was a bit odd, but I thought it was wonderfully made. Along with:

Voices of a Distant Star (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0370754/)
Synesthesia (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0466006/) (Though it was odd, it was interesting to watch)

And then the two movies I never really got the endings of, so if anyone else did >.> they should say so:

Marebito (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0434179/)
Lost Highway (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116922/)

These ones are more so because they're odd.

Oldboy (2003) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569/) - imdb link (Korean)

I just finished watching this movie and was blown away by it. This is an excellent movie in a fucked up way of course!!! This is a story about revenge, pain, love, and the extremes people go to perform them. You still get the action that comes from this director who also did Lady Vengeance and Joint Security Area.

Ranked 117 in the imdb top 250, it's a must watch.

There is also a manga that it was created from, which I haven't read yet but is available at mangatraders.

From Dusk Till Dawn - Tarantino movie! About a couple of psycopathics on the run to Mexico. (Trying not to spoil)

The Professional / Leon - It's known by both names. It would make a really good anime. About an assassin and his relationship to a young girl.

I several movies recently :

Slumdog Millionaire : Won all those awards and I was really skeptical about it. But this is a very well done movie. It was very good, if you haven' seen it you should definitely see it. A+

Taken : I had seen the ads for this movie and wasn't going to see it in the theatre and wasn't expecting much. I found it to be pretty entertaining though. B

7 Pounds : Wasn't sure what it was about, thought my wife wanted to see it. This was a very good movie too, which is kinda rare for me to say. Took a little while for the story to come together but when it did, it came together well. Amazing movie. A+

Bride Wars : Got for the wife to watch. Chick flick, somewhat entertaining. I fell asleep after about an hour and didn't really care to rewind to find out how it ended. C+

Observe and Report : WTF was I thinking? Did I really expect Seth Rogan to just turn Paul Blart into a very entertaining movie? Walked into it about 10 minutes late because I thought it was 7:30 instead of 7:20.. no loss there. mildly entertaining parts of the movie were overshadowed by the naked fat man with small penis getting as much air time as anna farris. D

Terminator Salvation : Hate to say it, but it wasn't a good movie. I had high hopes for this one and was so anxious to see it but it really just didn't do the franchise justice. TSCC was more entertaining than this movie. B-
