Nobody will read this as it appears now in the forums because the punctuation is all screwed up. I am always willing to help people improve their writing, but its not fair to ask people to read text that looks like an Extraterrestrial grammar squad zapped it with rayguns.

I know you tried to change it around, but you might want to have your friend post it on a website (fanfiction.net, mediaminer.org just to name a few) and then put the link to it here.

And also, if that's all of the story they've written I'd tell your friend to seriously re-consider posting it online. At this point he's got a beginning and thats really all. You make a much better story if you get at least half way through it (so you can think about plot events, delivery of themes, time allocated to characters, in/consistency in dialogue and general flow) because then you'll have a much bigger lens to analyze your story with. I know that people want feedback ASAP, but there's honestly not much here to react to. It seems like a pretty cookie-cutter fanfic so far.

AnywayZ, have any of you read any of the `excellent` Naruto fanfics that can be found on fanfiction.net? I got so hooked on a bunch of them, but `For the Love of my Friends` takes the cake. I would give away my computer to the author just to get my hands on the complete fanfic. Unfortunatly it isn't call out yet but the author "Foxie-Sama" just uploads Magnificent Chapter after Chapter.

AnywayZ,(again) check it out if you have time, you don't even need to be a Naruto fan or know jackshyt about it, the story just ownz. But be warned, I got a F in Geometry and Chemistry because of staying up to 4:00 am reading this story and forgetting about everything else I had to do since I get home at 1:30 pm. I even went so far as to Convert the story to JPG images and putting it on my PSP to read during school, through my classes, during lectures.

I trashed For the Love of my Friends ages ago since Naruto-Hinata fanfics are 90% of the time done badly. Naruto-Ino, Naruto-Tenten, Naruto-Temari or even Naruto-Tayuya are more belivable on fanfiction than Naruto-Hinata. Hinata always suddenly gets the guts to tell him and Naruto always ends saying 'oh hell, how did I never noticed you before?'

Also already read Training for the Job and From Ramen with Love. They own as well. Can't say I heard of the other 2 though.:rolleyes: Yea, you are absolutly right with the NarutoxHinata thing. But For the Love of my Friends has amazing been able to keep it together on the grounds that Foxie-sama refuses to make them a couple yet. And i'm not complaining, whenver they hook up the story goes in the drain.

I think I'll recheck this one... I think Im confusing it with another one that had a similar title... but it needs to be very good... I hate this pairing after reading bad versions.

From Ramen with Love is one of my top favorites ever.

Its not really centered on the Hinata Naruto relationship yet, at least so far as I have read. I really like the way it is written, as well as the reality it adds to the usually happy naruto universe.

For the love of my friends is like the best. I agree I've had some scarring from other NarutoxHinata pairings. But this story just doesn't focus on NarutoxHinata romance and more on going back in time, protecting Konoha, befriending everyone and doing the mission the gods assigned them-Kill Orochimaru before he acquires an Immortal body and destroys Konoha with the Help of the almighty Demon Kyuubi.:cool:

This summary doesn't do it even close to enough justice.
With 4000 positive reviews with the exception of 20 gay reviews saying "Why didn't you do it SasukexNaruto" and "Wheres the yaoi?" Lucifus Shudders....cold shiver runs down his spine.

I am so glad the KakashixIruka pairing did not materialize. Yaoi in such a good work will only lessen its greatness.

I found one truly amazing fanfic. Only thing is, and this is `really` sad. The author just up and dissappeared. But even without the completion, this is a story "worth" reading.

Training for the Job was awesome. And From Ramen with Love. Don't even start. Hit my number 2 instantly, followed closely by "Foxhound" Oh man, if only it had the author would continue.... xD Probably because I like the Kyuubi way too damn much. So I like fics with a bit more action.

Darn... From Ramen with Love left an evil cliffhanger. And every reviewer believes the story will be a NaruHina because of her joining the fight against Arashi... the author thanfully gave me a review reply stating that the others will get their turn next chapter. Hope to see it soon.
Training for the Job is good. I even went as far as re-read it (only have done that with 3 other fics... Ramen with Love, This Means War (Harry Potter), Laredo Tornado's The Keyblade War (Kingdom Hearts) and Narutotachi Goes to Hogwarts.
