Communism is pure socialism, so Assertn is right. Its just not supposed to be run by a government(eventually). The gov't is supposed to be phased out. It just doesn't work. Then again, pure capitalism doesn't work either, you need a mix of both for a society to function.

Well you can say Hitler's hatred for the Jews was in political in a way too. He didn't just hate Jews, he hated all religious groups. He felt that Christians were more of a threat and was planning on targeting them after. He pretty much targeted anyone that threatened the Third Reich(ie. SA and Rohm) just like Stalin did.

Stalin killed about 20 million, Hitler killed about 12 million. So I think Stalin was much worse since he killed his own people and even a large number of his own generals.

Hitler was crazy, and made no attempt to hide the fact he was trying to commit genocide. Most of Stalin's murders weren't even publicised until after his death. I think Stalin was worse, but most of the world prob doesn't. Then again, this world still has idiots who think the Holocaust never happened. I'll never understand people, and the day I do is probably the same day I become as stupid as them.
