"MAN DATES GAL ON INTERNET FOR SIX MONTHS -- AND IT TURNS OUT SHE'S HIS MOTHER!" (http://entertainment.tv.yahoo.com/news/wwn/20051209/113414040002.html)

Yes, you read it right.

I can't decide if that's funny or scary. That guy is the most unlucky guy on Earth, i mean damn you walk down that beach and you see the girl you've been dating for 6 months and she turns around *BAM* there stands your mother. I would run into the ocean and drown myself. You gotta get some kind of mental damage after a situation like that.

Yes! I hacked in to their database and fuckin' swiped this shit. Seriously though, I have never heard of rolleyes, so no. I don't get why you would even ask this, it's not like I said I have written it.

Back on topic:
I feel most sorry for the father. It's got to hurt to lose your wife to your own son.

That was my initial reaction. Seems as if the wife was still married. So now the dad knows she's been unfaithful...with his own son.

Forget all that, what I find most disturbing is that the mom is 52!!! And she's cybering.

There's always a possibility of that, you can't rule it out.

This is why online dating is hazardous to your mental and physical health.

The only person who I met online and later went out on 1 (and only 1) date with turned out to be fucking ugly and I was kicking myself right away for not noticing that she was obviously a perfect example of a person benefitting from Internet Disease (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/Internet_disease)
but at least it wasn't my own mother...gross

I'm a spelling fanatic. I rarely make mistakes in spelling. And when I do, I usually fix it IF i notice it.

Ahhh, the lost art of spelling correctly. I'm with you, though I'm a bigger fan of correct grammar and sentence building. But english can get a little tricky sometimes (though I am extremely gifted) since it isn't my main language. One thing that annoys the hell out of me about the english language is that you write apart everything. For example in english you write bus driver or bus-driver, whilst in swedish we count that as one word and it's simply busdriver (this is not a swedish word obviously, I just used it in the example).

On topic: I was thinking the same thing about Oedipus. Wonder if he will show up in the news again, but with a slightly more gruesome headline.
