Azureus status problem

need help...! has a major problem with azureus during downloading. i receive error in the status section which halt the progress of the download. this happened to some of my downloads, i needed to restart the download for it to continue. Status error says like this "Error : resume data save fails: C:\path of the file (the process can not access the file because it is being used by another process), open fails flush fails".

does anybody know what it means? what do i need to do to resolve this? i checked the processes that were running and i believe that no other process is running or accessing the file except azureus. hope there is a solution to this prob.

it could have too many file descriptors open at once, and have thus exhausted its ability to open new ones. You might want to check the field "Maximum files opened for read/write" in the Files->Performance Options, and seeing if there's a reasonable limit set. That'd be my first impulse to check, anyway.
