Hey ho everybody, i just joined the forums and :P questions keep flowing.

Finally watched the two seasons of AMG and the show rocked, however i know the manga dosnt end there so is there any season 3? Searched the forums and google but all i could find was rumors (too often have they disappointed me). Does anyone know ANYTHING for sure about the third season? And exactly when did the second season end and if a third would air when would it do so?

it ended back in september maybe late september 06 i think so season 3 if there even is one im not sure myself would prob start in spring sometime around april or fall ish i think or hope a third season if there is 1 will start .... it seems every anime series startes in april something and goes till around setpember ish goning about 20 eps or least the ones ive wateched followed that pattern for their seasons and amg did the same for the first 2 seasone i believe correct me if im wrong here i really dont know just guessin on a limb =)

Hmmm, dunno about S3, but on their official site, I think it says (under NEWS) that they are coming out with unaired episodes 23 + 24 on DVD. When, I don't know. I don't even know if what I'm saying is correct. Tried to translate the page with Babelfish, but it comes up with script error every time. Seems right though........ Guess we'll find out. :D

i simply translated it through firefox and it did a pretty well job .. but ya it does say there are eps 23 and 24 and they havent released them yet.. the writing under the box leads to believe some time 2007 but that could still be a while since were only 1/12 of the year done .. but who knows

Season 1 is already complete on store shelves (box on amazon for $160 or so)
Season 2 disc 1 comes out may 8th, according to animeondvd.

Never heard of an AMG game in English, and I doubt it'll happen. But ya never know, if it's well-coded and reasonably well-scripted, internationalization shouldn't be that hard. Just a question of whether it'd be marketable -- something I doubt.

Well this bike represents the relation beetween his grandfather and this now Shinentaï.
Keiichi is just really respectfull of that.
In a way, this basement is the last home for this bike, were it rests in peace, living in the memories of past love.
And even though his granfather and this shinentaï are dead, he may think something remains and respects everything around that.

For the bike he would continuously repair, it's safe to think it's his own BMW sidecar, that is the one included in his relationship with Bell, meaning this Brough Superior isn't suited for that.

You need to rewatch the episode. :p

Since K1 was comparing himself to Chieko, of course he meant he would keep waiting for Belldandy if he ended up turning into a Shinentai, which also had a further implication --- since Belldandy explained in the episode that Shinentai was someone who became an image if s/he "passes away while still holding onto strong feelings", that means K1 was implying that his feelings towards Belldandy was so strong that he would remain in this world as a Shinentai even after he died.

a shinentaï exists until they get what they needed so much. Not a very stable relationship...


I wonder if The Kiss would be a reason for K1 to become a shinentaï :D
After all we're all waiting for that to happen... so the writers may be evil enough to do that.

Anyways, the shinentaï idea is not what I wish K1 and Bell for their relationship to continue after a normal human lifespan...

I found it odd that Urd says "I love you" in every major language except ENGLISH. Yet she uses a seldom used language like Vietnamese. Portuguese is used more than that. Also, there was a explanation error. There is no such language called "Chinese." There's Mandarin, Cantonese, and lots of other dialects spoken in China. I don't know any, so I have no idea if she was speaking Mandarin or Cantonese. It's like calling Tagalog "Filipino" or Punjabi "Indian."

Well considering it's so hard for K1 and Bell just to have their first kiss, seeing this in a scene that is not related to humor or not overdeformed (well K1 is, but for a totally different subject)is strange in a way.

And yes we've seen Bell in swimsuit before, but that shot is particular because it is more erotic...

There was also in ep 23 the moment when Bell is above K1 to wake him up.

Things are getting spicier in that show :o At least I did not watch it for that and was quite surprised.

Thanks for clearing that up. :) I guess most "westerners" don't know there's multiple spoken languages in China, but there are some, like me, who do. I never assume Mandarin. Especially since most of their action movies (non-historical/fantasy) are from Hong Kong and are in Cantonese. Anyone who's ever watched a Chinese DVD should know because there's always the option of Cantonese or Mandarin dubbing. And most Chinese shows are subbed with Chinese characters because of all the dialects. Those damn complicated Chinese... :p

lol, that explains it all. I was kinda confused when you said that you had it "queued", but now that you posted again, it all fits. :D

You had other torrents downloading, didn't you? :) Of course you did.

You had a setting that limits how many active torrents are downloading and/or seeding. Any other torrents that you want to download or seed will be queued. queued torrents will move up in the line as older torrents finish their download. That's why your AMG torrent starts so much later. But yeah, that explains the queuing. As for why episode 4's link doesn't work, I have no idea. Have you already got 1-3? If so, you can select to only get 4-22. Saves you downloading it again. But from what I see, it's already started. Can't change it now, so just do with it.

It's always a good idea to go to your torrent client's homepage and farmiliarise yourself with the settings and tweaks. Lets you customise it to work better with your system/bandwidth.

One more thing, bandwidth tests don't always give a good indication of your DL/UL speed (from my experience anyway). Unless you have a really REALLY outdated computer (like, say pentium 2 @ 400MHz, less than 256MB ram), then your downloading + uploading speed is usually limited by your connection speed. You can check this by loging into your router viewing it's "status" or "connection status" page (or equivalent) to see what you're physically connected at. ISPs will say you can get UP to 24mbps or what ever. That tells you your theoretical limit, nothing more.

It was certainly very much Ah! My Goddess still. At least Keiichi managed to say aloud he loves Belldandy, even if it took the whole episode to gather his courage. Urd was as hot as always, as well.

Perhaps it was because it's been a long while since I last heard the AMG crew in their roles. I had to look up the VAs to confirm that Belldandy hadn't in fact changed VAs. She sounded much more mature than the last time I remembered.

Skuld and Peorth were the only two who didn't sound slightly different.

Overall the character designs were fatter than previous renditions as well. I prefer the slimmer versions more, though Peorth was again pretty spot on in this department too. Skuld's hard to tell since she's underaged anyway.

Thanks, got it last night, just finished watching it ;)

I also had concerns about art and voice acting.
Urd was totally off, as was Keiichi. It clearly lacked implication, acting. There was no spice, no life, it's as if the Voice Actors were just reading their script, very annoying. Especially since I like Urd a lot, as she's playful and mischievous. Having her with almost no tone variations, irony in her voice, was very unpleasant. Same goes for Hild.

At least, we get another milestone in their story, it just that it's a little below the quality I was expecting, but maybe I'm becoming too demanding.

I'll watch the second ep gladly too, after all, there's much more to that show than what it actually is that actracts me to it.
