Pretty basic question. My friend was telling me about this series and had an episode to show me. Is anyone providing this series or has it been liscenced? I have ran several searches with nothing resulting. Anyone here, in the know?

Well...that show is technically not a Japanese anime. It was made by an American company (and creator) and is distributed on a American television channel called Nickelodeon (may vary depending on the country). So no one could really fansub it since it was never in japanese, it was directly created in English. You probably got confused since it uses elements from various Japanese anime. just finished watching book 1(season 1) for the seris ..... its pretty good though the main characters are a little on the young side. (i suppose its supposed to appeal to nickalodean's target market). but you can find the torrents on www.isohunt.com (http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ihq=avatar&ext=&op=and)
theres 20 eps in season1. i think book 2 (aka season 2 ) hasn't aired yet.....
