First episode was great if you ask me, seems very different to things I've seen in the past... And it was also a bit disturbing, for some reason when Yuu was cutting his nails it reminded me of Monster (I don't know why though...)

I havent downloaded it, but I think AssSubs has a file called ssa/ass in their torrent, this means it is not hardsubbed.... You'll need to download and instal vobsub, and make sure that both the raw and the sub file are named the same...

I'm not downloading this version, which seems much worse than Shinsen (I bet you've never seen me say that before)... So my recommendation is to wait for shinsen or for some other group to release...

The animation took a dip again, but I think I'm getting used to it(an aquired taste maybe). Another good episode...and we now understand what Karasu said in the first episode(well kinda i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif).

The art is kinda weird, though it suits the anime. The story is really strange and the art style contributes to it. It creates a feeling none other animes can imitate. I really enjoy it. I thought it was a really old anime when I saw the first episode as the art was "low quality" although the voice actors were excelent but after a few more episodes this seems promising.

I was a bit confused about the whole timespace thing, but the last two episodes did pretty good in clearing things up.

I do like A-Keeps release the best. Then again, they're only on episode 5 of TSR.

btw... i was rewatching ep 1... and damn Karasu has changed (not in an unrealistic way but he is still different... i mean he is the one that found the torque... several times and got the others on that case...) also what the hell are those shangri-la things? and what do they do one they reach the earth? cuz in ep one it was the same thing, they had to stop it from reaching the earth at all costs... and in ep 7 it was like it was the end of the world (probably was)

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!! That episode was good... the fight was better than the first of ep 1 and wow! well played... everything was neat.... and seems tha Noein is more involved than i first thought!!
one thing though, they really do change the drawing style for fights (with the free flowing pen)... its neat.. i actually like it better than the regular style (it actually has more details, but they are less defined)...

Not ripped but broken into cubes. Fight was incredible, they realy put alot into it. I hope that the guy said about future is true and it won't change as in too many animes they manage to change to happy ending. So i hope this will atleast have semi-happy ending at least.

I don't think it has any meaning, at least as far as japanese goes... We've seen a character being called Noein, so it may just very well be a proper name... and from what I see Noein is from Shangri-la... I also have my suspicions that Noein might be Yuu/Karasu from an alternate universe/time...

uhm... he was the leading scientist in quantum research. For the past three eps, its been made clear that he will be important to the story (Haruka has a date with him, the two adult people are looking for him)

the fight was nice (although Fukurou Vs Karasu was better) and well, seems that Haruka is bringing the whole of the Dragon Knights by her side? now there is only the half-human guy on the side of La'Cryma and he thinks the timespace is doomed. Well, I really hope we forget about it and move on the talking more about Shangrila.

Well, if the preview was any indication of things to come, Haruka (and this timespace) might need all the firepower they can muster. Even if it's a bunch delinquent knights from another dimension... Althought it's hard to see where the story is actually heading for. So far almost all fights have been bickering amongst the dragon knights. Maybe fighting against Shangrila is a purposeless thing to do anyway. It's also emphasized by the fact Noein is the only real Shangrila being. Dunno. This is like a story of Haruka finding herself, and everything happening around her is of secondary importance, and doesn't matter in the long run.

Edit: What I'm trying to say that this is a kind of philosophical story, or a long-winded chinese chess match between Noein and Haruka. Right now I don't think the actions of the others play that big a role; they only help Haruka to form her own opinions, reflect her actions, and seek the path she's going to tread.

It was quite a good episode. There's some deeper idea behind the actions of Noein, as Haruka's powers seem to be reaching the omnipotent state, and fighting her directly might not be an option. But Noein said he's little invasion already did what he needed to be done, so apparently there's something going on Haruka & co have no idea of. Some causality stuff, possibly. And we still don't actually know what role the Magic Circle project of that one unmoral businessman exactly plays in the bigger picture.

If you like the series, I guess this will be worth getting. Picture quality should improve, among other things.

Well, well... Noein came back. It's good to see that Shinsen decided to return also to this timespace for a chance, considering how many projects they have running simultaneously.

Edit: Quite a nice episode. It's quite calm, all in all, presenting practically no battle (well, this never was an all action series anyway), but the plot proceeds nicely. And Atori seems to be cracking again. Maybe he will regain his insanity... But it's hard to predict what's going to happen in this series, as same kind of events seem to happen time after time, yet with possibly different outcomes and meanings. Just like happened at the end of this episode.

Well we saw it was coming so it wasn't much of surprise. Mind of the 'Bird' was nicely done. I wander what made Noein as he is.

A really good episode. It has been built slowly but this show has its own unique atmosphere. Of course much of its is based on pseudo science like in numerous other series, but somehow I think it has been played really well in this series. The science isn't only a convenient play with words to explain random things, but it seems to have an actual role in creating the slow, magical, dream like progress of the story. And the music really enhances that, as well. It's like a reliable mix of old and tested stuff in perfect, working doses.

Still, it's impossible to see where this all exactly leads, at least for me. That's naturally a huge positive factor.

Heh. Sometimes it's hard to remember the kids are just kids in this series. But some scenes do certainly succesfully remind of that fact, like Yuu being very embarrassed by being hugged by Haruka at the end of this episode.

Edit: I'm still totally unable to make any predictions of what is going to happen (or even going on) in this series. Such a wonderful state of unpredictability. This was a good and interesting episode, even if it did contain one scene (and explanation) I didn't particularly like. Well, 3 more eps to go, and I'm certainly looking forward to them. This show didn't lack unique traits and atmosphere.

Aye. A very good episode, and since the next one is the final, the acceleration was to be expected (also literally). It has been a good series with a strangely calm atmosphere, despite all the fighting and threatening things going on. No doubt the excellent and perfectly fitting music also played a role.

It was definitely worth the wait. An excellent last episode. An excellent series altogether. One of the most unique ones I have seen without feeling or being totally weird or strange like FLCL and the rest of that sort. And not quite stock graphics either, yet still pleasant. All in all, this series will find its place quite high on my list of exemplary animes.

I just started watching this series last week and i think it is really good. i'm getting close to the end and its getting hard for me to juggle this and one piece in the past few days and then bleach came out last night so i watched it...

it has some really unique animation and some great fight scenes and story too.
