I hate it when you accidentaly swallow some gum half the way and you have to like choke it up so can continue enjoying it. This goes for all candy that you want to savour and dont want to swallow directly. This reminds me of something, did anyone watch the captain nintendo cartoon or whatever it was called. In one episode the main character swallows some gum and has to go inside himself and fight against it. I think this is real or I might have just dreamt it.

Ok, some of it sounded way too fake, some other might be true, who knows? At any rate I'm glad the only gum I swallowed was by accident when I was a kid. Never got into gum anyway.

In fact,


Gum is eliminated as human waste in the same way  and at the same rate  as any other swallowed matter. Granted, it comes out the far end relatively unchanged by the trip, but it does come out on schedule.
This seems to support the idea that the story could be true - albeit a little exaggerated.

I don't think it's fake or exaggerated, I'd believe it. The guy practically lived on gum chewing 7 or 8 pieces at a time and swallowing constantly. What he says happened makes sense to me, but I'm no expert on the human body.

Well, option number one: rip it out. old school, yo!!. So, using a small strip of toilet paper as a ****-shield, I grabbed a lump of the offending plaster and yanked.
