First Episode released by Ayu:

I've been waiting for this since it seems interesting, here's some info on this:

"Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo."

Are you sure you are not talking about gotwoot forum and its website.

Anyway the story looks interesting. I might watch it. I bet it would be better than those Naruto fillers.

I know I wanted to watch this, but couldn't remember what it was called for the life of me. Thanks to Ayu for subbing it and Bud for listing it here.

This one is a keeper. Good animation and an interesting concept. It reminds me a lot of Skyhigh, which though short is one of my favorite manga series.

Not that this is even remotely the appropriate thread for this, but you may be using a client not banned, but did you read this important line:

"Ports traditionally used as defaults for p2p clients and bittorrent clients have been blacklisted from our trackers for security reasons. These port ranges are more commonly monitored, regulated and blocked by ISPs and internet monitoring groups."

I'd be willing to bet a lot that this is everyone's real problem. If you read the whole site Budweineken posted, you probably won't have a problem.

Impatience tends to be the victor as of late. I'll take what I can get, even if its at 10kb/s

As for manga, this seems very similar to Death Note...

It really reminds me of Skyhigh the most. Hopefully it will break the formula soon though.

1. Person is abused
2. Person finds the site
3. Thinks over going to hell, gets abused just a tiny bit more
4. Makes the covenant.
5. Abuser gets mentally tortured by Ai's attendants
6. Dragged to hell, person ponders their fresh tattoo/seal and doomed fate, but feels better.

There were some more things involving Ai's grandma, who seemed creepy and omnious because we didn't see her. In Skyhigh, we got to see some of Izuko's (the guardian of the gate of grudges if you haven't read it) past, and Skyhigh~Karma puts her in an even bigger role. That is where I'd really like to see Jigoku Shoujo go. The short stories get old fast when they're all the same.

Ayu apparently lost their translator like a week ago for this project, I don't know their current status. I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out.

With this in mind, ASource released episode 1, so if Ayu continues to have problems in the near future, you can keep an eye for releases by this group...

This series repetition is seriously not doing it for me. As much as I love Mamiko Notos amazing voice and her portrayal as Ai Enma, the rest of the series is... just not cutting it. Maybe if we saw something more than the endless (and sometimes cheesy) punishment scenes, I'd be more enthusiastic about it... But it's just getting old.

Still gonna watch tho

The 3rd episode is my least favorit so far, its wasnt dark enough to fit the theme of the series.

I hope they break from the pattern or at least start revealing more about this strange family that deals in fate and death and whatnot.

Yeah, I'd like to know if it breaks from the pattern as well by eps 6, since I've heard 4 is just like the rest of them. This seemed like it would be really interesting, but it's too episodic without giving any additional storylines.

Interesting first episode. This was one of the series I was waiting for since the first season ended.

So in the end, the whole bullying thing turned out to be a collective effort by the whole class? Or was it just the teacher and that girl? And there also appears to be a second hell girl?

Well, seems like no one cared to discuss the second series of this. I merged the threads...

Here's the complete torrent for the second season by Ayu for those interested:
http://www.ayu-anime.net/torrents/%5BAyu%5D_Jigoku_Shoujo_Futakomori_01-26.torrent

Anyways, season 3 just started, Jigoku Shoujo: Mitsuganae, and here's the first episode by Aero:

The third season of Jigoku Shoujo.

Jigoku Shoujo, the Hell Girl. Enma Ai, what has become of her? At the end of last season she became separated from subordinates; so what will happen to Ichimoku Ren, Hone-Onna, and Wanyuudou now? What stories of hatred, lasting grudges, and revenge are being prepared for us this time?

This new season promises to have a newly powered-up Enma Ai and a number of "reunions", so look forward to it!

Good episode once again.

Couple of spoilers below:

Well, Enma Ai got hurt during the "porting to hell" sequence this time. I'm wondering whether it'll be forgotten next episode or if it is of importance. The episode seemed to make quite a big deal out of it though, with her coughing both before and during the boat sequence, while speaking. Just saying, nothing like it has happened before. She's never gotten hurt before actually, as far as I remember. Might be nothing, or might be a detail that'll be brought up later.
