i dont know what to say -_-. it looks like Cardcaptor Sakura that these 3rd graders have magic powers and fight each other. their weapons are like alive cause they talk and change modes

this is the sequel to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha... so you have to watch that before this....

I get you guys are getting first impressions from this series...

I am loving this sequel. The fights are awsome. Magical girl fights are so violent and high tech now.

Did anyone else notice how Fate's Zanber mode resembles Gutt's Dragonslayer? The base is obviously different, but the shading and shape of the blade, and its comparative size to the weilder is unmistakable.

I picked the best shot and angle to get most of the details, but you can't see the tip very well. If you watch eps 11 other parts are more apparent in other frames.

Well, I had watched the original series, but never bothered with the sequel. I've never been a fan of loli's and of mahou shoujos. But seeing how the new series coming up marks the end of Pedoha, I thought I should at least catch up and give this series one more chance... Watching episode 1 now.


Edit: I forgot what was the reason and purpose of Alf and Yuuno, and why they can transform to animals and such, someone cares to explain if possible?

Alf is a magical beast that can acquier human form if I remember correctly. She is Fate's loyal guardian.

Yuuno on the other hand is a magic user who lost his powers on first season (or depleted them, don't remember) so he took that shape. Why did he took it once more on Season 2? (don't remember if he did, but if he did... it was to spy Nanoha... LOL!!)

Just finished the series... It wasn't that bad, it had it's good moment. But towards the end, I remembered why I hate this types of shows, when the heroines do a staring contest with the villian and start talking crap about "changing" and about "feelings" and "happiness", just go all out and kill each other.

Another complaint is that they never mixed up the fighting pairs... the same people faught each other throughout the series, same shit over and over. Plus, poor Yuuno was left without any romance time, which the series could've used to make it a bit more complex and interesting.

Anyways, I think StrikerS will be more of my thing, so hopefully it'll turn out good.
