been waiting for this episode for a loong time now... finally!! HONG KONG! my hometown heh... the cantonese dialogues from Mao and the soldiers are really off, and barely make full sense but it's really entertaining to listen to the pronunciations based on the way they read japanese hiraganas heheh... they used some real madarin speakers for the episode of Nanjing's under-river tunnel, thought they're gonna hire some cantonese speakers this time but they didn't.

by the way the name on sousuke's name card sounds more like a girl's name to me i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif 1st character - "Kwok", a common surname, no specific meaning. 2nd character - "Song", meaning "cool" (a really unsual haracter to be used in a proper name), and the third character "Wai", means "intelligent, smart" but usually used in girls' middlename.

but all in all not a bad effort with the background drawings, esp the tunnel across the harbor and the red brick building which the grey Venom stood on top of, that's the Polytech-University if i remember right... the locations mentioned in the briefing is quite accurate, they've certainly done quite some research on this.

Honestly, if they do leave this as a 13 ep series, then I'm definitely expecting a Third Raid. If the producers/directors original intention was to animate the novels, then there's no way they can fit all of it in 3 episodes.

They can finish End of Day by Day in 3 eps.

What I'm wondering is if they will do Dancing a Very Metty Christmas or skip to Contuing on my own for the anime.

I would say thats not the first time he had his blood rushing to his ..... You are forgetting Tessa. He has been working with her for a long time.

i personally wouldn't expect too much for a "3rd raid" at this stage... it's quite common for animes to be cut short from the novels edition cos they run out of budget to produce it further into another season. will hafta see if they're in fact making a profit from advertising, dvds and other commercial products. hopefully there'll be an official announcement whether a "3rd raid" will be produced or not soon after the end of ep 13.

Just watched this episode...

Man, Second Raid is awesome... In the surface it doesn't seem like much is going on, but they really pack alot of emotion in each of the episodes...


I hope Souske gets in to kickass mode soon, right now he's pathetic... He's better off stealing Al, and making a run for it with Chidori
