I think this is huge news.

This man stands at the head of the body that initiates every legislative vote on taxes, spending etc in the US. He is a major player coming out of Texas and in the recent past the Republican Congress has even changed the rules so that Delay would be able to continue as the leader of the house despite such troubles (foreseen beforehand by his cohorts) But he has now resigned from his post as majority leader....

Okay, I know this is a double post and I apologize for that but there is no other way (aside from starting another topic) I can see to update this topic for people to see it.

In light of recent unfoldings in this topic, namely additional (and, IMO, more serious) charges brought against Tom Delay, the US House Majority Leader I am giving this thread a BUMP and providing links to news sources for more extensive coverage of the most recent events.

I'm really pretty shocked that nobody's said a thing about this. We're not talking about any small fry politician and this isn't like Clinton's sloppy blowjobs. This is real-deal hardcore corruption at the center of the United States government.
