I think if they sat down and played some poker, it would have been way more interesting. With Neji seeing what everyone has and Naruto thinking he has a flush, but he has a spade amongst his clubs. Lee would go all in right away and tenten would destroy the table once she sees Neji using Byakugan (or however it's spelled). Oh, and their drinks are spiked for added hilarity, especially Lee. Damn, now that's something I'd watch.

This episode however was empty. I thought there was hope with the fight scene. But no. They were just thugs. At least there was some Neji and tenten moves. Too short, too useless. I actually hated Lee more than Naruto in this one. Go figure. Grade: F- with a scoop of petrified dung.

Seriously, other than the meaningless fight, did anything actually happen? no

Well, since Raiga is one of the Seven Ninja Lords, the rest of this filler does have some promise.

Though lightning bolts have nothing on mickeys.

the most annoying thing about this episode is the voice of the kid Stuck to the main bad guys back HAD to be the voice of Alphonse Elric from FMA... Which sucks Becuase I like FMA and now when ever I see it again I am gonna think of crappy Naruto fillers with Lightning Swords and Live Turtles being thrown into "LIFE SAVING" (???? I STILL DONT GET IT???) Curry.

Another useless filler.

Neji was not much of a leader. Lee and Naruto keep ignoring him as a leader and doing things on their own. Shino was much better leader than him.

I was expecting good things from Neji and Lee but this episode was flat, it had no spark.

Whats the point of hiding in the mist and then shouting, oh look at my cool swords.

First, the obligatory weekly: NARUTO IS SO DAMN ANNOYING

Same lines every damn week. "I won't forgive him", blah blah. And wanting to do stupid hasty things on his own. And he's so ugly too. At least nobody mentioned Sasuke.
I was so disappointed in Raiga too. If he's a damn mist nin at least he should have a sword not a stupid freak attached to his back or whatever the hell that is.
Well at least I got to see Neji hit stuff. And what's with all the stupid filler characters? Karashi's reason to join Raiga was beyond ridiculous.

Also LMAO once again @ the poor turtle being boiled alive. So evil.

Raiga must be the only mist ninja who has those small swords. Zabuza and Kisame had huge swords.

I think that curry has effected Neji's byakugan. Its that turtle. Byakugan users must eat any turtles.i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

Lookd like this arc might end in next episode or the episode after. Anyhow I did like naruto's change up to his Naruto combo ... i was expecting the whole pause to the over the head kick but this time he actualy flips up and looks somewhat cooler =P.

Anyhow it wasn't as bad as people say it is. The turtle made me laugh again.

This episode was crap, but it wasn't as bad as some other episodes.

you guys are being way to lenient on this episode, or this arc for that matter. The last thing I want to see is old grandma sitrring her curry, followed by flashbacks of them stirring her curry. And then there's Raiga planning a funeral, then crying at the funeral, then not being able to shaddap about his funerals every time he's at a funeral.

And of course, the power to summon lightning is gay to no end. Who needs the hand-to-hand combat prowess of the other 2 mist shinobi when u can just stand there shooting lightning bolts?

Of course Neji can't see through the Mist. Apparent his eyes aren't x-ray visions; it has its limits & one of which are against Mist ninjas. Mist clan is a sworn enemy of the Leaf's afterall. A welcoming reunion of the Leaf vs Mist rivalry. I think this arc is great. Some Mist ninjas have no swords at all such as the one with the mist bloodline with Zabuza and the guy with the umbrella & needles from Idate arc who was a former Leaf ninja but switched clans. The mist ninjas specializes in assassination missions & there are more than one way to be sneaky & one of which is not carrying around a conspicious giant sword. This brings back memories of Zabuza vs Kakashi. Great filler. Turtles tastes like chicken by the way. MM turtle chicken soup.

i think it gave a reason for why neji couldnt see through the fog. it wasnt because of heat or the fog was to thick but because the boy raiga was talking to said his power was greater than neji's so he was blocking it. the boy also commented on neji's ability or something.

Are you comparing a filler consisting of curry and a funeral obsessed freakshow villain to the most dramatic and moving part of all of Naruto? The only thing this filler reminded me of when it comes to that arc was the mist in which Raiga captured Naruto and friends. Well thats the problem you guys are facing is that you're seeing similarities where there are none. It is natural as the more you watch the more you become less interested unless the content is original. Can't expect much as they say its a filler afterall. I anticipate the action comparing it to the Zabuza arc but it is not bad because we were missing out of one of the most important aspects of Naruto that was missing, its humour. Kids love that & yeah im a big kid. Also anyone that pulls lightning out of nowhere is interesting. Looking at Naruto all he does is do a 3 hit combos with clones & he isnt even that strong & somehow end up totally knocking people out after the first hits yet i'd be embarrassed to see that Neji & friends can show their face after being electrocuted not that people can't but this one obliterated the very cliff they're standing on. I also think he's talking to his sword rather than someone growing on his back but lol i do miss ukon & sukon too. The guy is deranged & enjoys funerals.

This episode sucks. There was absolutely no point in showing those seens of old grandma stirring curry unless there's some subtle element I'm missing. And lightning bolts...why can't they be more creative? The last thing you want to do in a fog is summon lightning bolts.

imo it was a boring ep. those grandma moments were annoying, karashis motive to join raiga absurd and lee's claim about saving life curry stupid. Not a great thing, raiga sharpshooter? he chooses where ligthings fall? this fillers are killing the few seriousness the anime had (and the kid attached to his back... another mutant, fillers are always the same crap? i could do it better!). I'm repeating myself, but kishimoto should watch anime, they are destroying his creation.

i believe that saving life curry has to do with lee fallen into unconciusness, somekind of deep sleep he cant get out, so they make a very strong curry to snap him out. Stupid indeed.

Maybe Raiga's sword has a little kid attached to it by use of some ninjutsu ever think of it that way? That would be awesome if it was some sort of sword/child hybrid. Probably not but we can always hope although I'm going to be pissed if he dosen't have a sword like all of the other seven mist swordsmen not the seven mist lords.

It was kinda lame.. but most lame is that IF Raiga is from the akatsuki
then WHY THE F*CK does the leave village send 4 GENIN.. doesn't seem so reasenoble to me.. more like sending couple of jouning with sannin.. or so..

Oh well. I think the perfect plot of this filler is that Raiga beats all the 4 genin and then grandma comes with her "curry of life" and exidently falls and the curry pot fall's empty in raiga's mouth and he get in a coma..

(that about the futuring of this fillers story line)

hahah...yea. well naruto is getting and has been getting pretty bad since the filler arcs started like way back in june 2005. why are they still dragging filler episodes? i'd much rather have them just go into the kakashi gaiden and "part 2" and add stuff to those things instead of making up some dumb stuff and making naruto look soo much worse. i'm surprised that kishimoto is allowing people to ruin his creation...

Well those that don't understand the links i'll explain. In the same way i don't understand any of your posts seeing imaginitive similarities with Raiga's thunder and Bleach character's shikai & bankai, i thought...hmm...okay if you want to stereotype everything and see patterns between different aspects of an anime & compare [Insert your fav anime here] and want to put down the [insert the one you're dissing] then i can do that too.

The casts
Rowen = Ishida
The girl = Inoue
Yamamto = Ancient
Hollow = ghosts
Grunt= grunt shinigamis
Aura= Reitsu
Netherland = Soul society
Ultimate moves = shikai/bankai

& lastly instead of 5 young warriors, a girl, young boy, & a cat you have
Ichigo, Ishida, Inoue and well very sexy fem fatale.

The story. The warriors are modern day teens finding secrets & unlocking their past and discovering their destiny and the two spirit world and normal world are interconnected in some way.
When i said 'you' i dont mean anyone in particular but im just seeing things that begs to be corrected sometimes like "oh Naruto scks compared to Bleach or wow this anime is a knockoff." Two can play that game.

What does that have to do with any of the links you posted. The similarities you have between Bleach and Naruto make 0 sense and are a bit of a stretch. I get the point you're trying to make, but you chose a pretty bad example.

Even though all Raiga does wrong is that he doesnt perform hand seals. Maybe we ought to dissect everything that's wrong with Bleach in the Bleach forum. Haven't touched it. Have stepped in it and seeing alot of positive comments yet no one has the guts there yet Naruto is being treated with the least of respect. Hmm i haven't trolled Bleach forums yet even though i like it alot right now & we haven't had any negative things to say but gee i wonder how long till that eventually happens? The only similarities between naruto and Bleach are the typical shonen genre convetions.

Main character with a special power.

Emphasis on the values of friendship

Distinct terminology to used to describe "power levels"

There are few other conventions but I can't really think of them off them right now but those are the most basic one's that I can think of off the top of my head.

Also I fricking swear Ichigo looks like Garra's dad.

That's because Naruto has been giving us shitty filler episodes for 4 months. The only comparison being made between Naruto and Bleach is because of Raiga's sword. That's it! It's as if the filler writers can't come up with their own crappy ideas, so they start using ideas from another popular anime. I don't know if they intentionally did it, but it's still a funny comparison to make.

Yes, you CAN make comparisons between Naruto and Bleach, but that's because most shounen anime have 90% the same plot. It's all been done before, it's just the way it's done makes it unique.

Zabuza arc was one of the best in the series in my opinion. Thats what compelled me to watch Naruto. Also he is the only villain I liked. His fight in the end without his hands was awesome. I call it "raged fatal fury".

The main difference between shark teeth and pirhana teeth is that shark teeth are all separate in a appearance(and in multiple rows), Pirhana teeth look like one single serrated bone, which is what Zabuza's teeth look like.
