3 episodes till opening change and what everyone speculates to be the start of the manga again. Hopefully this new filler will be wrapped up by then. I don't know how much more I can take. This filler was very nice and I enjoyed it alot until he farted. Way to sh*t on a good thing. Even the Rasengan was nice, although my thoughts were *sigh* when I first saw it being prepared, but this time it was how it should have been all those times before and pwned them good.

I was disappointed in the lack of animation on Hinata's move.

Oh wait, Hinata didn't get cock-blocked at that hug scene, so all's well that ends well.
*2 things I learned from this episode*
1. All filler villains, no matter how badass, meet the same fate as a Team Rocket goon.
2. Hinata is plugging her recent sponsorship from "Moto"rola.

Yeah. That's what this episode was. Complete and utter bullshit. The female bug user's forehead is so damn ugly, for starters. But that is nothing compared to the fact that this was among the worst episodes I've ever seen. SOOOOO predictable (even for filler) and Hinata is so DAMN ANNOYING PLZ DIE YOU STUPID BITCH! "Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun! More, more!". Go star in a damn porno instead you worthless broad (not like any movies would accept her entrance). And Naruto. ooooh, Naruto. If I had a penny every time you said you will never forgive someone, I'd be rich, and I'd use the money to convince Kishimoto to kill you and Hinata off (but only after excessive torture). Goddamnit, that sucked. And Hinata's new move was laughable. "this is like Neji's kaiten, except I stand in a silly way and swing my arms around for no apparent reason". And the farting thing. GOD THAT IS SOOOO NOT FUNNY. It's so damn stupid, and further fuels Naruto's idiocy. Also, it destroyed the entire Naruto/Kiba fight 100 eps ago. Back when I didn't want to kill Naruto because he's such a Sasuke obsessed fucking idiot.

The few highlights of the episode:

- Seeing Naruto getting stomped in the head
- Seeing Hinata getting punched down and panicking before that
- Seeing Neji in the end
- Seeing rasengan... hah! gotcha! Just kidding. Rasengan sucks, just like Naruto. It's a lame and ugly move ("look! a ball!") and overused beyond redemption.

I hope the next filler will be better. But I'd appreciate if they just left Naruto at home (or killed him) and let team Gai do the mission themselves...

I have a question about this episode...
I thought the female bug user used her honey bees on hinata but when hinta cuts the bees up with her new move, the bugs didn't release the sticky honey and stop her. So what happened to the honey?

I didn't think the episode was that bad - just the ending w/the fart and all.

I felt it had a little more heart to it than the other filler episodes. It was actually pretty exciting for a while.

But yeah, Hinata's new move is ultra dorky. It reminds me of one of those Burger King Kid's Meal toys where you press a little button and a sphere rotates quickly around a small figure inside. Y'know?

Since the honey wasen't released it's pretty safe to say she used different bees.

Personally I'd like this. I like real Naruto, but filler Naruto just plain sucks. They SHOULD have fillers using the (remaining) Genin teams, just not with Naruto. Hence why I think InoShikaChou was the best filler yet. But Naruto, Sakura and the subject of Sasuke are so repetetive during filler.

Although I COULD understand why they did this. It felt a bit more random than the Idate arc I guess, which was "Here's a shitty mission and some all-healing remedy. Now get the fuck out of my office".

Oh, and no more fake flashbacks, i.e. the Mizuki ones.

*sigh* if only they had psuedo-fillers like One Piece. It has side-stories that appeared as a series of front covers on the manga or something, some of which Toei expanded into 2 episodes each, creating most of the dialogue and doing a damn good job of it.

Garra got his from Shukaku
Chances are shino's defence bug thing is used by his other clans member
Kimi dont seem to have an absolute defence....
Ukon and sakon's defence is a summon from orochimaru.

Hinata's was made directly by herself.

I just watch and learn to deal with it since im not paying for it anyway.

Actually Neji figured the Kaiten out all by himself. He didn't "copy" it at all. It was a technique that already existed, but he had no knowledge of it or how to do it when he figured it out. He's called a genious for a reason.

Now that I think about it, Hinata's move copied from the 64/126 strike thing, as it is essentially the same thing. Just without the lasers.

That episode blew major ass. For once I agree with Terracosmo.

Hinata's "Ultimate Defense" thing was the most retarded technique I've seen in this whole series. She's flailing her fucking arms around and splitting bees in half. The whole time I was thinking "if she learned Neji's kaiten, this would be a lot faster and easier." Also, I like Hinata as a character, but the whole "Naruto-kun" thing....HOLY SHIT that annoys the crap outta me O_o Even my brother's girlfriend's younger brother who watched only half an episode mentioned how stupid and annoying it is. He's what? 8? 9 at most? Something like that. And another thing, Hinata needs to quit "copying" Naruto. Not giving up only because Naruto wouldn't. It's lame and annoying. She should want to not give up for herself and to save her own ass when she's about to die, dammit...

And what part of this episode was well animated? It's just like any other episode. The only really well animated episodes I can think of were the biggest fights. Mostly because of the art style used, but Orochimaru vs. 5th Hokage, and Naruto vs. Sasuke. To be honest, this series cheeses on the animation because they don't have to make it detailed. Watch more anime, you'll see what I'm talking about.

You know, not to attack anyone or their opinions here, but seriously, people like y'all are the reason there are more filler arcs. They see people's reactions "that was an alright episode" when they knew it was complete crap when they made it...and then since y'all ate it up, they just make more and get more money from it. It's an endless cycle...

What it all comes down to is they need to stop making filler arcs.

I watch enough anime to know what I'm talking about thank you.
This episodes animation showed a difference in art style that I really enjoyed. As Heretic Azazel said, parts of it reminded me of FLCL. Watch it again and compare it to any given episode. The animation style is quite different, and in my opinion, much better. The only thing I didn't like about it was that Naruto's eyes were really huge.

Edit: So yeah, everything else was super fluid and drawn very stylistically. So what part wasn't well animated??

Naruto looked adorable in that shot where he's looking at Hinata, as she's waking up.. hehe. Everybody was just so balloony and out of proportion you know, its cool to see now and then, a style like that being used. The only times I saw the motions looking like that was like during Naruto/Sasuke and Sasuke/Oro but even this was distinctly different, like a new team started or something.

But I do agree there were some corny aspects to this, and while the fart turned everyone off, I just pretended it never happened and went about my business... my self-denial doesn't bother me a bit. Yeah I know it was stupid after such a different vibe to an episode, but what can you do...

Also I wanted the Rasengan to tear through some bee ass. Finally a chance where Naruto doesn't have to kill anyone, just a summon, and it didn't happen. I always wanted to see the move carved in someone like Jiraiya did to the tree in the training. But the explosion was nifty at least.

And I don't know where you get your fansubs.... but mine are free. So, shitty episode or not, they're not getting any money out of my download.

Terracosmo & nge484 ... Um have you all not been reading my previous posts... of course hinita got that move... her Bukuyuguan lets her see temperatures better.. THIS lets her find water falls to train by when she needs to train becuase its water and its colder and stuff... WHICH IS WHAT everyone with bakuaguan does... They train at waterfalls becuase they can see them better.

SO of course its a natural progression that if you trtain at waterfalls (which you can SEE better becuas they are colder and you have bakuaguan)... That you will at SOME POINT in time .. after much hard work... Be able to shoot lasers out of your hands.......

If you cannot see the logical connection there... Well then you probally are simply not drinking enough Drain-O..... Personally I like I chug a bit of Liquid plumber when I think about it... it helps me to clear my mind.. and understand the idea of laser hands....Yupp it makes perfect sense...... now I am gonna go outside and watch my yard turn different colors....

Personally, I think this episode was all right (aside from the end, which was fucking horrible), but that's about all you're going to get in a filler. I'm not much of an anime purist, but from what I've seen, the animation, or art, or whatever sounds better looks okay.

I've got a good amount of anime under my belt as well, and there aren't a whole lot out there that dedicate a lot of good animation into every episode. I didn't see what was so special about this particular episode compared to the rest of the series. Was it the CG bees hovering around Hinata? Seriously, I think the only above average part (when it comes to the animation) was when it focused on Naruto when he was pissed and had the Kyuubi eyes. But opinions are opinions. The Heretic Azazel: It's not that I don't give the episode a chance. I give it a chance each time I open the file and dedicate to 20-25 minutes to watch it. From time to time I do find a remotely interesting or redeeming quality in an episode or two. But comparing filler episodes to your normal episodes (dirived from the manga), the ratio of good to bad episodes isn't very good. I really shouldn't say that there aren't any redeeming qulities of the fillers, because everyone may find something they enjoyed about it. Especially since everyone's opinion is just that; an opinion. No one's "wrong." I personally just think it sucks and in 151 I found little to no redeeming qualities. And the part that should have been cool, looked completely rediculous to me.
I'd rather just have less people supporting the filler arcs, cuz for all we know, it may be why they keep making them. Because people don't mind the lower quality episode...

It had a more feeling original naruto feeling to it. As most things were done in stealthy way , rather then naruto's charge and punch way.

well I personally would like to note that I think the whole Naruto Hinata thing is actually progressing. For once he actually said something good and seemed to look at her in a new light. And of course the whole waking up in his arms thing. I would like to see them together for once and would like to see how it turns out.

@nge484: The animation in Naruto is not constant, therefore different episodes look different. The particular animation style was more fluid, more detailed, and stylistic. There is a notable difference:

Well yes, compared to episodes like 133, 48, 71, etc etc (the ones done by that guy), this episode's animation is not as good. But it's still better than your run of the mill episode. And yes, I mean non-filler episodes too.

It wasn't STUNNING, but it was still a lot better than what we're usually treated to. I feel I'm overusing the word "fluid" but that's a good way of descibing the animation in this episode. That, and like Heretic said, the balloony proportions, weird camera angles, and exaggerated movements of the characters. I'd post another picture to rub it in, but that would not prove my point about the quality of the animation, b/c it's only a screenshot.

I thought the filler episode was good but I went back and watched episode 91-96 out of boredom..downloaded it and everything..and it's such a big difference from this shitpile they put on a platter to us every week..you don't realize how much you miss the animation..the storyline..the battles..until you rewatch a few old episodes..so I say..fuck this filler..I agree with all of the negative comments..this filler sucks..

Well, I'll give it to you that the art was pretty good in the episode. Especially compared to the last one you showed. I know they don't always have the same artists going at it and each episode comes out a little different (hence, why they use that one particular artist on the big fights). But I wasn't talking as much about the art of the episode. I was discussing mainly about the animation. How fluid the movements were from frame to frame.
To me (at least), the animation and fluidity of the episode looked fairly normal. But hey, I'm no expert. You may still be right. It's just the way I remember it. I'd rewatch the episode again and pay more attention to the animation in order to discuss it more with you, but I really don't want to kill more brain cells than I already had to i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Holyshit. Hinata looks cooler than Neji in that episode. All Neji had that Kaiten move and she has taken that away from him.

The animation was much much better than the previous fillers but a silly way to end the episode. Shino showed his leading abilities.

I didnt hate this ep but Im glad I get to see lee, neji, tenten, and gai for the next filler. If there has to be another filler after this one Id want a team Gaara filler.

XanBcoo I also liked the animation a lot more on this episode, almost made me forget it was a filler until naruto farted. After that it was downhill...then neji showed up and everything was good again.

I for one, would prefer if Naruto take long breaks between arcs and give us good quality stuff, not drag it out with these fillers. These fillesr kinda killed the atmosphere naruto had in the first eps.

More filler arcs, hopefully this is the last one because all the teams have apperared, sakura-naruto-jiraya/shika-ino-chou/kiba-shino-hinata/lee-neji-tenten. I spect 3 or 4 boring an shitty episodes to come, more naruto stupiddity, lee and naruto stupid discussions about who is going to kill the bad boss, neji acting like a 50 year ultramature cool guy, and tenten the puppet.

This episode was crap, like all the fillers, sadly on this times fillers have become = bad, boring, no interest story-telling losses of time. Hinatas movement was sooo.. i dont have the words, it was stupid, retarded, even a dog could invent a (cooler?) better justsu, something that actually makes sense. She wasnt even moving his body!!! wtf? just make all the bees attack from the back and u have a massacred hinata pumpkin. She uses chakra like a light saber??? i cant understand it, i tried a lot, but my short mind cant come to any answer that makes sense (other than fillers are story-fuc.ing, time buying episodes with no sense for narutards that love anything they vomit for them, if some1 feels bad with this comment... i hope u can get "lobotomized").

Kishi isn't involved at all with the anime. Also, it's not like he has a choice. Either they produce shitty fillers, or the anime adaptation of his series gets canceled.

Yup, u have a point there terra. I know that sr. money is a powerful lord but, couldnt kishimoto just give 10 minutes of his life to watch over these fillers? put some sense in them? They make all the plot go to waste, in my opinion these filler arcs are dangerous, they make naruto a far worse anime than it was, and with so many fillers one after another they make the whole thing even more notorious. If u have a filler between the main plot (quite a good one *sigh*) it pains less, but this... filler avalanche, is starting to hurt seriously the series.

New absurd moves, characters that look like mutants or zombies, far worse than the cursed seals. Characters that are as powerful as a jounin and that without any ninja training (im talking about those 2 baka brothers, not even a jutsu, just brute force, and the managed to beat every1 except hokage, dont start a discussion about this plz), new strange and nonsense moves (hinatas not moving lightsaber-mill jutsu, its another total "offense"!) overuse of narutos "only" jutsu (rasencrap). Here in my country manga and anime arent very famous, i introduced some friends into naruto (they liked it a lot at the begining) but now they start hating it, and it pains me but the truth is that the anime has made a great quality fall. It pains me.

Well yeah, I'd assume they would have to occasionally ask if what they are doing would collide with Kishi's plans, but aside from those little details the anime crew has full control.

Also, @Edort: Yeah I find it strange as well that Kishi doesn't devote a few minutes to it. I mean, if it was my series, I'd never allow half of the things that has taken place in these fillers. But who knows, maybe Kishi (and the japanese in general) doesn't think as badly of these fillers as we do? Or maybe money is just appealing enough for Kishi to ignore the fillers bad qualities? Then again, it's a harsh world where only the strongest survive (as the author of One Piece once said i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif) so... + it'd be a lot of work to watch over the anime and draw a new manga chapter each week.

Who knows, maybe she did it as a precaution; she may have once before tore off all of her clothes while developing the jutsu...and fell into water.

Personally, I think the only other application I can see her doing this is in a rave party; maybe that's why she's by water all the time, Extasy can dehydrate a person mighty fast.

I stopped reading at the 3rd page. Yes, there is more then one type of animation in Naruto. Thats true of most anime because a lot of stock animation gets outsourced to smaller production companies because its cheaper, and it gives the main production company more time to finish. Sometimes different production companies get hired to work on different sections to save on time. Thats also why they have a lot of repeat "this is the last 2 min. of the last episode" at the beginning of the episodes, they reuse transformation/attack sequences/etc., bits of animation where only a tiny section of the screen needs to get redrawn, or animation just gets reused. Production companies are under some pretty tight deadlines. Try checking out some of the animes/manga/articles about production companies/production assistants.

The other reason for filler episodes is because they tend to be easier for the production company. Many of them are designed to be easier to make, by allowing the reuse of backgrounds, animation sequences or whatever.

The animators must love Shino. You can create a 20 second dialogue sequence for him using one frame since his jacket hides his mouth.

Personally I thought this filler was the most interesting out of the fillers. Sure the fart was dumb but we all knew that the Bikochu mission had to fail some how. Adding in the humour was much much better than the lame baka brothers' jokes.

As for why Hinata was using the water for her training: same reason why Domon Kasshu needed a drop of water to get his concentration and why Ninjas like to train underneath waterfalls. And she was naked because she didn't want her clothes to get wet. (other than satisfying fans who wanted to see her naked......Hmmm)

And Kishimoto does not have any says on the anime at all. The rights have been sold to the animation company, and the only credit he gets is that at the beginning of the show it states : "Original creator: Kishimoto Masashi". He might get money based on the viewership and so on, and maybe an advisor to reduce confliting plot advancements in the manga, but that's about it.
