Basilisk: Kouga Ninpou Chou + FILM : Shinobi

[Jadugar]

Basilisk is based on a novel by Fuutarou Yamada. Its the story of two clans, Koga and Iga. They had been had been fighting for 400 years. Gennosuke of Koga and Oboro of Iga, loved each other and promised to break down the cursed bond and were close to being married.

The truce between two clans has been broken and the ten ninjas from each side have been fighting. Who will win? Who will survive? Will there be a happy ending?

Gennosuke isn't blind.. He got snake venom in his eyes, he will be able to use them later.. As Hyoma said.. Enemies will be targeting your eyes thats why you must learn to live / fight without them...

They eat away his injuries so he can live again. He have only one ear ring demon left now,so he can only come back once more,after that he dies for real.

its pretty simple... when he dies the demon wakes up and sows him up... then he sends an electric charge to get his heart beating again (and his brain)... its pretty basic technology...

Yes, the file size is getting smaller and episodes are getting darker.

So we can assume that he wont be back if he dies again.

They only showed one side of his body, left or right, I am not sure which one. So you dont know if the other one went back or not. I dont think he has a particular number of lives.

This is first time we have seen his revival technique, I think. I cant remember when they showed the dots on his ears earlier.

DIdn't occur to me that'd be a demon inside of Tenzen. I mean thus far we've only seen these ninja rely on their own skills and genetic qualities alone. That's why my first impression of Tenzen reviving himself was that maybe he retreats into his head and re-enters a recessive being inside of him, then gets to work healing his own departed body back to health. Sounds weird I know, but I dunno, it also reminds me of those stories of conjoined twins, where one never fully develops and instead gets lodged like a small disfigured apple in his twin bro's stomach or ribs or whatever like a parasite for life. Or those bizarre cases of cancer lumps that develop an actual set of teeth and hair and stuff.

Anyway, that Obfkufu or whatever talks too slow. I'm also sad Koshiro had to die, cuz he was suffering a lot with Oboro and his never rectified mistrust of the Koga.

I don't think Basilisk was ever done completely by one group. According to the eps I have IY-F/K-F stopped subbing it at 7 when it became licensed. Okoi^Sugoi picked it up afterwards from 8-12 then decided to stop and now we have Nonamewinners for 13-19. I never downloaded kraze's eps so I can't compare them to these groups nor do I know if Kraze is still subbing Basilisk.

hi again everyone. I succesfully downloaded the first 6 episodes from the megaupload site on this first page. Also I noticed that torrentspy does have episodes 8 and on by NoNameWinners, so thanks to whoever told me to search there.

My problem however is with episode 7. The Megaupload file was deleted for this episode. It says it's expired due to inactivity, so I have 1-6 and 8-current are easily accessible, but if anyone is willing, I need someone to re-upload 7 to that megaupload site or let me know how else I could get it.

I'm thinking everyone is going to die eventually, maybe just Oboro and Gennosuke will survive so they can continue their love forever or something goofy like that, they've killed people steadily the entire series so there's now 5 charachters and 4 episodes left (according to ANN). I think there's good chance Tenzen will smite Saemon, and maybe the sex killer girl too, and then if he died in the process it would just be Oboro and Genoske for the win.

Personally, I think Tenzen will be the ultimate threat against both Oboro and Gennosuke and that they will have to team up in order to defeat him. Oboro is the only one who could actually prevent Tenzen from just getting up again with her dispelling gaze.

As for Saemon? He's smoked. There's not a fucking chance that he will survive against Tenzen. Did you see that smile on Tenzen's lips as he was toying with the confused Saemon? Now that's the stuff I love about this show.

Just get the latest version of whatever codec pack you are using. It's h264/MPEG4. It should be included in any reasonable codec pack. If it isn't in yours, it's time to choose a better one. I had a couple of months old version of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, and it worked just fine.
