GTO was 10 times funnier...

Golden Boy wasn't that funny if you ask me... it was simply filled with perverted situations...

GTO though it had alot of perverted situations, it had by far the most pure comic situations...

Perverted is funny, i like Golden boy better. Onizuka got a bit annoying after a while but he was funny in the begining.

I gotta say Golden Boy. Sure it has some really perverted moments (toilet fetish), but I'm a guy, I loved Ebichu, and its really funny. GTO reminds me too much of Gokusen (yes, I do know which one came first) I saw GTO later and I thought Gokusen had a better premise with the teacher's shady past. (Yakuza are more amusing in that situation than delinquent biker gangs). Sorry, couldn't help but bring a third series into it so you could better understand my reasoning.

GTO hands down. Golden Boys...."unique" sense of comedy was too much for me. Onizuka cannot be beat.

definitely Golden Boy.

Golden Boy, ever episode left me with a reaction of "whoa.. that was amazing". while GTO didn't really get like, amazingly good until the end.

Kintaro Oe is definitely, atm, my favorite anime character (though followed closely by Spike).

RIGHT. Theres not even a contest here. GTO WINS in all aspect. From characters to storyline. Well thats my opinion anyway. :)

Yeah, GTO. Golden Boy is great, but GTO is just...awsome.

I would have to say that GTO overall is a better story for me.

The Golden Boy anime is better decent but it cover very little content and those that read the mangas will notice that the story get worst as it progress. GTO however is one of those classic that is just very easy to sit down and enjoy.
