Still no bankai. I think it will take a couple of episodes till we can finally see Ichigo's bankai. Rest of the gang is captured only Ichigo remains. Is he going to save them as well as Rukia? Tough job ahead. What will Ishida do now that his quincy powers are gone?

Nice to see Zaraki alive and kicking. Renji is back in action as well. Is he also going to awaken his bankai? Looking forward to the next episodes. Go ICHIGO!

I really liked this episode. Things like these satisfy me much more than the upcoming Bankai of Ichigo's. It was interesting to see that Kira's gone insane, and the scene with the letter that the 4th division guy with glasses wrote was hilarious. There were many nice moments in this one. It's what I'd like to call epic foreshadowing.

Seems like we have some more of the character development stuff next week, what's with all the vice captains as younglings.

^It is quite nice that they're giving us some history on other characters, but I just really want to see Ichigo's Bankai. Well, at least we get to see the vice captains and one captain next week.

Matroska is really all you need to play any .mkv Google it. It's the first 3 links.

For subs the best is VobSub. Google that too. It's the first 5 links. I know it's not acutally supposed to be used for watching subs, but it gets the job done.

OR: You can download the Defiler Pack. Which contains every single codec you'll ever need to play anything.

Checking any of the older Bleach eps would have answered this, as someone has asked this in every single eps thread since Hell started to sub Bleach. Support works too.

I enjoy the diversions from the main plot. They're a nice touch. Funny too.

KENPACHI is alive.

but am i the only one who doesn't sees a future in bleach?? ichigo is going to kick byakuyas ass and after that maybe a few other captain's but what after that?? maybe kill the hollow that killed his mother. and after that i can't see ichigo doing something else.
i hope a new enemy will rise and he has to team up with a captain..??!?

The show has already set up the fact that there are Hollows ALOT stronger than even the one that killed Ichigo's mother. So I imagine after this soul society thing is over the Hollows will be the main villains again.

I liked the episode, no fighting, but at least they are tying up alot of loose story threads.

Why the heck was Kira having a nervous break down? He seemed claustrophobic in that cell. It also seemed like Kenpachi denounced his role as a captain he was no longer wearing the white over coat that the captains wear. Yachiru and Renji made this ep great. Since Renji's snake monkey was in the real world does that mean he can do Bankai if so then I'll get to see him again i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif.

I dont think he denounced his captian duty I think he is just hanging around with his top guys and resting and healing. Anyway I am glad as crap to see hes fine. I bet ichi and him have a rematch proball kenpachi will learn to use his soul slayer. Decent episode anyway and next one seems like flashbacks.

I doubt they are going to fight a second time during this arc. Kenpachi hasn't had any time to get any stronger, and if he did, whats he gonna do, fight Ichigo after Ichigo has his Bankai? Thats a one way ticket to another ass-kicking.

I think the opposite is going to happen, they already basically said that their team is gonna escort Inoue around now, so maybe they are actually gonna help. Nobody on that team seems to care for orders from higher ups anyway.

lol i think its hilarious that all the captains just do their own thing with no regard for rules or athority or anything. i wonder why they havent shown the first captain in any significant way yet?
anyway, i enjoy the little snippets of character development for everybody. i was glad to see good old chad again too, hes always so calm and collected.

anyway yeah, so we have renji breaking out of prison, and inoue palling around with the captians looking for ichigo. oh and kira is gong bonkers in his cell for no apparent reason. what is going on here? it seems kinda mish-mashed together at this point, hopefully later eps will clear this confusion up.

all-in-all, a good ep, i just wish i understood/remembered the circumstances that got everybody in their respective confusing places.

Kenpaachi and Ichigo won't fight again in this arc for one reason: Byakuya. They've been building him up as a rival (after renji) since eps 16, and now with Ichigo learning Ban Kai for the sole purpose of defeating other captains to save Rukia, a final confrontation with Byakuya is inevitable. It will probably be the climatic fight of the arc.

Kira's scene was particularly confusing. What did Capt. Gin call Kira when he turned on the lights? Was that his last name or something like that, I didn't recognize it...

Renji broke out... wonder if HE'S going to end up freeing Ishida, Ganju (freaky appearance when Ishida first woke up, half-spooky totally-hilarious) and Chad? I can't see Inoue doing much to help them, and Ichigo can't rescue both Rukia and all of them? ....Why do I feel like he's going to do exactly that though?

I enjoyed some of the camera angles and the playing with light and shadows in this episode. Music was the same.

Ichigo's fight vs. Zangetsu reminds me of that part in the Berserk manga... in the Graveyard of Swords.... shiver....

Since all the deformed swords are "pieces" of Ichigo's soul can't he use any of them just as well as any other piece? I imagine its one of those confidence-in-yourself exercises. That no matter how bad things get and even if you're weakened and disarmed you fight with that last shred of will for all your worth. I imagine he'll figure this out next episode or in 47.

What was with that 4th Division guy? He was pretty damn annoying I thought.
And poor Hanatarou! What's going to happen to him? If I were his Captain I know I would probably have him put to death for treason...

Man, this episode was kind of what a REAL filler should be. It did nothing but recapture situations from the past. I watched Hell-Fansubs for the first time and I must say, it sucked. Lunar all the way! Didn't Lunar use to get it out a lot earlier?

Lunar usually releases 2-3 days after raw release, which is reasonable...then some other groups started making fast, half-assed subs, I don't really understand why. Who cares if you see the episodes every wednesday or every saturday? It's still once a week. I guess they just like doing it.

And this was a filler episode? I couldn't tell at all....it had actually good content that fit the plot perfectly. Seems that there will be side-stories for Kira, HInamori, and Renji now, to replace the guys that got jailed. Most impressive thing about Ichigo is the amount of blood in his body...He spills gallons of it in every freaking episode without recovering in between.

as Kooshi said, there is a reason why he is the general of the entire gotei 13, his pinky toe nail could take out the entire gotei 13(including byakuya(no matter how cool he is))

and the long face is b/c of having to be behind the other 12 captains in the op.

History has led me to believe that shounen type animes' intros are not reliable to foreshadow what is going to happen in the series... they usually animate new scenes with the intention of making the intro look cooler...

ok, mage .. I just found it odd because most of the stuff in the intros have not occured( or at least not in tghe same manner as the intro). There must have been some significance for them to foreshadow it..if that is what it was.. One could also argue that the setting was a bit different in the intro thus taking away from my point.. whatever

Despite Chaoskiddo's accurate and good point (which actually proves my point and Bud's), they aren't reliable. I did go into this before, but now there is even more proof that I can use without spoiling.

A lot of stupid theories and ideas start in Bleach from taking opening sequences literally. Guess which one didn't happen:
-Chad fighting Sui Fong
-Ishida fighting Hitsugaya

If you guessed both, you're right. Both are in prison, and Ishida sure isn't fighting anyone with his powers burned out. The rest of the opening has happened, is too vague, or could still happen, so I'll leave it at that.

Actually, now that everyone is healed up, I'm wondering if all three of them are gonna get broken out of jail in time to get into new fights before this arc reaches its conclusion.

Perhaps the opening will still be proven to be more accurate. It's taken this many episodes to reach the point in the very first scene of the opening after all.

It's good that you noticed and they're actually gonna get into that, but its really only been three or four days. You've only seen nightfall three times:
1. the night they spent at Kukuaku's
2. the night when Aizen was murdered and Ichigo was healed after the Renji fight
3. Ishida fought Mayuri, and Ichigo was healed at Yoruichi's after his fight with Kenpachi.

Ever thing else happened at the same times, but because it was introduced sequentally its harder to tell, in the manga they sorta stagger the other things in a bit so it's easier to tell they're all happening at the same time.
