Good news for KOF fans.
At the recent MMBB Online Game Fiesta, SNK Playmore announced that an anime based on King Of Fighters is already in development.

The anime is being made by Production IG. Little is known at the moment except Kyo Kusanagi, K', Ash Crimson and Alba Meira will be featured in the anime.

They also annonced that SNK Playmore will have a bigger presentation at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, with twice the size booth than last year. They will also be having an event of King Of Fighters Neowave, while more info on KOF Maximum Impact 2 will be announced as well.

While I dont particuly like how Ash looks he is one of my best characters in the game. also the fact that Alba is in it migth be interesting he looks cool I wonder who the bad guy is going to be. probably Ash since out of the characters they mention he is the only villian.

The dub actually isn't that bad, can't say it's all that good though either. Better than the crap they're releasing now. EDIT: After breifly watching it again, it's pretty bad.

As for the movie itself...what can you really expect? (A little jaded about fighting game adaptations from the country that made a Street Fighter movie with Van Damme in it, and is now making a DOA movie *shudders at how bad it will be*) At least Mai's in it.

SNK Playmore will be announcing more details (most likely, a short clip or story details) at the Tokyo Game Show 2005, set to start on September 16th. Watch out for it.

I was just looking over the pictures again and other than Kyo the other characters dont seem to be that detailed which leeds me to belive that this may actually be a tv series insted of an OVA. I just hope is at least 24-26 episodes long.

It could be K' since he does wear a cross also judging by the backgrounds and the fact that Alba is in it the story would most likely take place in south town which its a great way to involved most of the characters from the game. Still if they dont include Iori on this it could be a great mistake.

Edit: GRRRRR.... the only video player I have which shows the subtitles is freakin' winamp, the core refuses to play this, and the other programs won't show the subtitles. To boot, the grapics are glitchy when I use this shit with winamp. Fucking codecs, this pisses me off.

Well on KOF97 he was 20 years old and in his last year of High school... so by now he must me what 26.
26 on KOF 2003, like I said before I haven't played the Maximum Impact games so I dont know how much time has pased from 2003 to Maximum Impact.

However, remember after the KOF 98, Kyo was kidnapped by NEST and cloned. So after that, I would be like F&CK high school I want to kill the mothers that kidnapped and cloned me not one, two, but 3 of times to conquer the world.
