why were they so damn unpopular? i wish he played a more prominent role in this series and i wish he'd somehow get buster back.

Dearka and Buster weren't that unpopular. I liked Buster and it's 100% ranged combat style.
I liked Dearka a lot too because he cracked a few good jokes + had lots of character development what's with the switching of sides and so on.

Acctually I've heard that Buster (at least the model kit) was pretty unpopular and did not sell well.

Hmmm I thought it was one of the better kits. Well at least to me. And anyway I liked Dearka and Buster a lot, and really really hope he can make an (unlikely) come back.

Deakka was cool, he was laidback and all and i like that alot. As for Buster, well there were worse suits but Buster wasn't that cool.

Dearka is great, one of my favorite characters.

The Buster however, never really did much for me. Sorta just an "Meh, eh, whatever" Gundam

Dearka was cool. In my opinion buster should have been loaded up like Heavy Arms.

buster's color reminds me of sewage. doesn't look half as charming as dearka himself. guess a suit like the GAIA suit him better.

It's Yzak I love, not his mobile suit(s). So you won't incur any wrath here!

For the record, though, I prefer non-Assault Shroud over AS; because it looks more versatile that way.

Well, good to hear the clarification and that I agree Duel seems to look better without the assault shroud.

BTW Dearka and Buster ROCK, just not as much as Kira, Athrun, IJ, Justice, SF and Freedom.

I like Dearka and Buster. Dearka has a good character development. He decided to switch side at the end. And I don't why people think Buster is ugly. I like that mobile suit. It has two guns, and they can be combined into one strong one. The colors are cool too -green and orange- like a long-ranged ground unit.

Yea,Dearka was cool,wat wif the silent,tall handsome type that only speaks to calm his friends.

As for Buster,cant blame it,but the director should have upgraded it into something like Heavyarms.But its 2 combining guns were cool,wat wif its shotgun effect,and dun forget that SF's hyper impulse cannon(its 2 beam rifles combined,wateva u call it)is based on Buster's.

I would have wholeheartedly applaused Dearka's switch to the AA team. If only a certain someone had never mentioned the switch was necessary to boost Buster gundam model sale i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif. The scene which he connects his 2 cannons into a huge energy cannon, despite being overly used, still impresses me.

but thats just the problem, every1 was getting tired of seeing Buster combing his 2 guns + the scene was reused all the time. Buster should have gotten more firepower
