Hi,
I'm wondering why this show didn't get more replies.
I've watched it at a slow, yet amused and sooting pace.

It's teenage school girls slice of life, with spirits everywhere, but no headache about it.
Some kind of everyday life poetry.

it's just targeted to those who are young at heart.
You can enjoy it if you liked SketchBook Full Color'S for example.

I bump that thread for fellow gotwooters that may like it.

Watched the first episode. Quite a strange series indeed. It takes some getting used to to fathom the setting of the series - how nobody pays attention to the spirits and how some high-schooler turning into a wind god is only a slightly peculiar thing.

I kind of like the attitude, though.

I had only watched the first episode when it came out. Was planning on continuing but it got licensed and no one really got to finish it. Fansubs had stopped on episode 5 or so, at least the ones I was collecting... some other group finished it but I don't know much about them, so I didn't pay much attention to them (apparently people liked them though). Of course, dvdrips came out later... but by the time they come out people have already moved on to other things.

And, the General Anime forum section didn't use to be as active as it is now, plus this isn't the type of anime that visitors of this site usually care about... all reasons as to why no discussion went on. But looking around other places, it has been well liked.

I'll give this another shot later

No probs, thanks for the explanation.
I then think that at times reviving such a thread can be a good idea for a very nice show that got forgotten when it could have been very interresting to our fellow gotwooters.

Regarding the show in itself, well I guess you get easilly carried by the atmosphere.
Be aware that at times and some eps like the third will let you know it's targeted at a younger audience. But overall it's nice to watch it.

Regarding the subs, the one I got was a bit annoying to setup each time, but maybe it comes from my end, image and sound quality were nice.

Finished the series. This was certainly a pleasurable series all in all. There wasn't anything that would have annoyed me. I wouldn't say it was filled by awesome details either but it pretty much used finely all the potential it started with and thus was succesful. I'm also happy it had character development and especially happy the romance was fulfilled. It would have been a real pity if it had remained just an idea. The other potential couple was better left this way as they both were too young for anything but blushes and embarrassment anyway (even if Shoukichi actually was more mature than Yurie in many ways)... Yet it fit nicely there as well.

The last episode was also highly succesful. The story kind of concluded for the most part in ep 15 (which was apparently the last aired episode, #16 being DVD only), but #16 was one of those good extra last eps that had all the main cast in and doing something worthwhile yet of little importance, making parting with the series easier.
