such thing as 17 and 18?

From what i've heard episodes 15 and 16 were extensions to the series, but other sources tell me there will be episodes 17 and 18 coming out... any ideas?

well, i strongly belive theres a ep 17 comming...since we didnt see the end of the last race...to see if he overcame the fear of 4x4 car's...AND, i belive he will be getting the last tips from what he learned in "Project D"

i think 4th stage is gonna be longer than 18 eps,
watch the opening, it shows a skyline and a s2000 racing each other
they wouldnt show new cars on the intro for know reason

also look at the fd at the very end of the intro

Yeah the FD changes to option C tuning. It think Ry was gonna let Kt use his FC in ep 16 but he used Kyokos FD instead...

i think it would be cool if they just made another Version 3: The Movie to cover most of the stuff that they have left.

i was wondering, if they released dvd's of 4th stage, will they include keisuke's races that he had but didnt show
if they do, that would be hella awesome

to LokeXero, Ryousuke wasnt going to let keisuke use his FC, instead, he had a replacement FD that was somewhat set up like Keisuke's current FD as a replacement
he then called to cancel the replacement because Kyoko showed up

It has been officially stated that episodes 17 and 18 will be aired in Japan on August 20th. There will also be more episodes for Stage 4 after 17 and 18.

August 20.. thats quite a long time, and it'll be even longer for the sub's won't it?? take episode 15 and 16 for example. saying that, i don't think live-evil made a sub for episode 16 yet did they?? ..

live-evil didnt make a sub for ep 16 because they believed that it would get liscenced at the anime-expo i think

im not sure if fourth stage is liscenced though because it hasnt been removed from animesuki

i remember that there were eps that took over a month for the subs to be released, i believe that it was one of the earlier eps of 4th stage, but im glad no matter what because there are more episodes

yeah, i just saw it yesterday, it's alright. It's not as good as you might expect though. There really weren't anything intense or anything. These 2 episodes are more like set up episodes for the next set, which should be interesting, 'cause the opponents are even stronger than the professional racer back in stage 6(i think)
