Hi. Just wanted to post this one up for critique. Done in pencil, inked with Sakura Micron Pigma pens and edited in Adobe PhotoHome deluxe. Oh yah, for those not in the know, that's Akimichi Chouji from Naruto.

And for those itching to see this piece in color, here it is:

Colors done by Shin Kell from the narutofan forums.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanx.

Did you draw that from a picture or just made that up?

If I draw I always print out a copy and then draw it over
If I have a scanner I'll maybe post it up here too.

I like to keep it in pencil, I think it's prettier that way.

When it's colored on a computer by someone who knows what they're doing, pencil gets owned.

Yah, I made that up. I have qualms about copying pictures, so I don't do that. I just thought I'd fill up the void of the lack of Chouji fan art out in the internet, haha.

I find it more "artistic" in pencil, but that's just my opinion
back to basics, I sometimes find a coloured drawing "uglier" than the original in pencil

Ow yea, I still can't make up a drawing, I have to have an example
Of course, in the future I hope to think of a drawing and just draw it
But I'm still far away
