I think that it's time that we had a place where we can discuss the great gaming auteurs. So come and discuss your favorite and your least favorite gamer designers.
Let me start things off by saying I love Hideo Kojima but at this point I really feel sorry for him. He seems to be trapped by his greatest success and because of the good sales and loads of critical praise he can't get away from the metal gear franchise. I almost would rather see him abandon metal gear solid 4 and work on new title with a new intellectual property. Ever since the release of the MGS 2 it seems like a new metal gear game has been looming around every corner. It's time for solid snake to receive some well deserved rest and relaxation. Besides you can't miss something when it's never gone.
